Luna Evanna Lovegood has finally done it. After years and years of trying and researching, she has done the impossible.
Luna has transformed into a cat.
This type of magic was only heard in books and movies. Not in the world of technology where people were making robots with feelings. But Luna has proved everybody else otherwise, that with a little determination and willpower you can do anything. She had not been discouraged by the people who thought that her dreams were foolish. And now that she was a beautiful cat those people could feel like the foolish ones.
But it was because of this extraordinary transformation that made Luna Lovegood famous. Her peaceful life was turned into celebrity status, she could no longer leave her house without the paparazzi waiting outside. Her phone was constantly ringing with calls from The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Today Show, The Graham Norton Show, and The BBC.
So instead of living her dream, Luna was living a nightmare. She just wanted to lounge around her house in cat form and climb trees and land on her feet every time. Not showing the world how she can transform into a cat. Luna was still human, after all. Though the only way Luna knew to get away from it all was to turn into a cat and going into hiding until it all blows over.
The plan was absolutely genius and Luna quickly acted on it the moment she had the chance, which was the next day. Luna's front door was crowded with paparazzi, waiting for her to emerged from behind the door. While they waited Luna transformed into a cat and left by the window. When Luna had got far enough from her house, she felt a sense of freedom that she hadn't felt since before the cat incident. She was finally was free to what she wanted to do and that was to be a cat.
The last thing that Luna thought about was being adopted. Or rather being pick off the street by a redhead boy, who introduced himself as Charlie Weasley. And all at once Luna felt the sense of freedom slip from her fingers or rather her paws. Being owned by a human was the worse thing that could happen to a cat. Humans thought that anything smaller than them could be tame and controlled when it should be the cats ruling over humans.
"What should we name you?" Charlie muttered giving Luna a look-over.
"Merow," Luna said helplessly wishing that she could turn back into a human.
"I think that we should name you Selene, what do you think?" He asked her.
"Merow, meow!" Luna said, which would have translated into: "I think that you should put me down!"
Instead, Charlie smiled at her. "Yes, that's a brilliant name. Let's go home shall we?"
"Meow." Luna sighed.
Maybe this was a foolish dream after all.
