One-Shot.
It was a typical family meal at the Burrow. Around the table sat Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and the entire Weasley family. Mrs. Weasley looked around carefully, something was up, she could tell.
"FRED, GEORGE! What are you doing?"
The twins froze with their forks to their mouths. They had been eating and telling stories of their pranks at the Burrow to a disapproving Hermione and a reminiscent Bill. "Nothing!" George smirked.
Molly looked at them as they continued eating. Something was still wrong. There was something different in the air. Animosity? Romance? Whatever it was, she wanted to know. "Charlie dear, how wonderful to see you back here. How long are you staying?"
"Oh well, I need to tell you guys something actually"; Charlie stood up and cleared his throat. Everyone looked up at him, some with curiosity, some with confusion and Molly with hope that he had finally found a wife. "I'm moving back here." Charlie tried to continue, but his mothers shriek of delight drowned out any further words. After being smothered by his mother, he finally continued. "I am going to run WWW in Hogsmeade, thanks to Fred and George." The twins cheered along with everyone else. As Charlie sat down, his mother frowned. It wasn't over something was still strange.
"Bill, how are you?" Mrs. Weasley decided to ask her eldest son about his life next. She was certain that something was up with her sons, but she couldn't place her wand on what it was.
Bill looked surprised before answering, "I am fine, but I really should be going back home to Fleur now." Bill got up, hugged his family, and apparated away.
"Well that was sudden," Ron exclaimed, before noticing his empty plate, "Mum, is there anymore mashed potato?"
"Honestly Ron, it's right in front of you!" Ginny handed him the mashed potatoes with a side of attitude. After hearing a laugh from her right, she glanced up and saw Harry smirking. "What are you laughing at?" she asked in a whisper.
"I love your attitude Gin." Harry said before pulling her in for a kiss.
"Not around the table guys!" Hermione and Ron said at the same time. "We don't want to see that!" Ron continued.
Molly could still feel something, but she carried on eating and trying to act normal.
And so the family settled down to watch the fire die down, and talk lazily amongst themselves. Molly was still suspicious. What was so different? Ron was sat playing Wizards Chess with Charlie, Harry and Ginny sat murmuring sweet nothings to each other, Arthur was asleep and Hermione, Fred and George were sat talking. That was normal now, as Hermione was also an employee of WWW, and lived with the twins. Molly decided that the needed to focus on this conversation, it was her only clue to her strange feeling.
"So 3 weeks then?" Hermione asked.
"Yeah, I think that's how long we need" George replied, yawning.
Molly sat up. What could possibly take 3 weeks? An elaborate prank? She yawned, and retired to bed to think. If only she had continued to listen.
"I can't believe you guys are getting married."
