The gossamer curtains concealing the parted French doors billowed in the light ocean breeze as the sun set slowly over the Pacific. In the dusky haze of early evening, they laid side-by-side in their honeymoon bed cherishing the post-coital bliss of their newly consummated marriage. She idly played with the pleasure-giving fingers of the arm that was wrapped around her shoulders as he lay with his other hand cradling the back of his head.

A gentle giggle escaped her passion-swollen lips.

"What are you laughing at?" he pondered sleepily.

"Oh, nothing," she replied softly as she threaded her fingers through his, smiling when platinum wedding band softly clinked upon platinum wedding band.

A slight squeeze of his arm around her shoulders and his soft "Share" encouraged her to voice the nonsense of her thoughts.

With a tilt of her head up and back to gaze upon her husband's serene expression, she quietly asked, "You know those word games where they give you a starting word and an ending word and you have to change the first word to the last word one letter at a time?"

His eyes opened languidly to gaze down upon her. A hint of confusion glittered in his baby blues but it could not compete with the supreme contentment that ebbed through his sated body.

A moment passed as they gazed into each other's eyes before she turned away and refocused on playing with his fingers.

"It's silly really but I just realized that I went from 'SAS' to 'SAG' today."

"Huh?"

"My initials, silly. I went from Sara Amelia Sidle S-A-S to Sara Amelia Grissom S-A-G." She twisted around to look at him only to see that his eyes were closed again. With a twinkle in her eyes and a grin upon lips, she teased, "I went from sassy to saggy just by marrying you."

One blue eye popped open. He merely grunted as his eye closed again and he muttered, "If you haven't lost your sass by now, I seriously doubt you ever will. And I can't ever imagine you being saggy." A moment passed before he added, "Just be thankful you're initials will never spell 'gag'."

She laughed softly in agreement. Then, just to make sure she hadn't lost her sassiness, she let one hand drift southward to softly brush her fingertips back and forth across his bare thigh. She sensed more than felt the slight movement under the sheet but it was enough to show that she definitely hadn't lost it. And neither had he.

He cleared his throat then nonchalantly asked, "You know that word game you were talking about?"

"Mmm-hmm."

"Well, I know how you can get from 'soft' to 'hard' in one move."

"Oh, really?" she questioned with the barest hint of laughter in her husky voice.

"Yeah, like this."

And with a move belying his relaxed disposition, he flipped over on top of her and attacked her neck.

Her squeal of surprise quickly turned into moans of unbridled passion as curtains billowed in the soft breeze and dusky twilight ebbed into moonlit night.
