Chandler woke up early on Mother's day. It was Monica's first one, so he wanted to make sure it was perfect.
He got dressed and went down stairs. He had bought her presents while Monica was taking a nap.
He bought her, flowers, chocolate, a necklace with a heart, matching ear rings and another necklace with their daughter, Zoe's name on it. He put everything out on the table, then started to make breakfast.
He heard Zoe crying on the baby monitor so he hurried up stairs. He didn't want Monica to wake up yet.
"Good morning angel." He said to the 4 month old. He picked her up and kissed her. Then he changed her diaper.
"Ok today we are going to put a pretty outfit on. It's mother's day." He smiled at her and she smiled back. "There's that pretty smile." She had her mom's smile. He put a pink onesie on her. It said I love mommy on it. "Come on lets go eat. Then you can help daddy cook." He took her down stairs and got a bottle. Chandler wanted to start feeding her so Monica just started putting breast milk in bottles.
He fed her and burped her. Then he put her in her swing. He pushed the button on it so the music would play.
He brought it in the kitchen so he could watch her and cook. He made waffles and bacon.
Once it was done, he set the table. He walked over to Zoe and picked her up. "Come on angel lets go wake mommy up." Zoe laid her head on his shoulder as they went up stairs.
He gently touched Monica's shoulder. "Honey wake up."
She turned over and yawned. She smiled when she saw her little family there.
"Happy mother's day." He said and kissed her.
She smiled. "Thank you."
He handed her a card. She sat up and opened it.

She hugged him. "Thank you."
"You deserve it. You were in labor for 38 hours to give me the sweetest baby." He kissed them both and handed Zoe to Monica. "Come on there is more." He took her down stairs.
"Chandler this looks amazing." She said as Chandler put Zoe back in her swing. They sat down and she admired her gifts. "I love it so much."
He got up and put both necklaces on her. "You look beautiful."
She stood up and hugged him close.
"I hope you liked everything." He said.
She pulled back to look him in the eyes. "This was an amazing day."
