September 27, 1987

It was a cool day in the fall, you could feel the wind genital breeze, you could see the leaves changing colors, and smell my grandma chocolate chip cookies. My name is Kagome Higurashi, I am seven years old and I am from Tokyo, Japan. I live with my mommy and daddy, but right now I am staying with my granny. my mom is at the hospital giving birth to my baby brother sota, so for the time begin, I am staying with my grandma an grandpa.

"Maybe granny will like these.." I giggled, i was outside in the open field picking flowers for my grandma. My grandma showed me this field 2 years ago when i came to visit her and grandpa. It was amazing...my grandma told me this is where she gets her flowers, the near the field behind the bushes the surrounded the field was a huge forest that i wasn't allowed to go into. Granny told me that he forest was forbidden, "Kagome! the cookies are done!" I hear my grandma and smiled "Ok! Here I come!" I gather all the flowers I picked and started walking back to the house.

While I was walking back to the house, I noticed that something didn't feel right. I stop walking and looked behind to see was anyone watching or following me, "I guess i'm just being paranoid..." then I notice that one of the bushes was moving, "Hello? anyone there?" I asked, at first I thought it was a small animal like a rabbit or fox but that wasn't the case. "umm...hello?" i walking towards the bush till I heard a siren, A police siren that was met for a state emergency , "A siren?" I said, I look and saw that sky was black mixed with the color red, it was looking sinister, The winds became hard, forceful, and stronger. I looked back the bush that was moving and saw black birds with red eyes, staring at me. "what's happening?"suddenly i heard a moan, i look behind me and saw a small black creatures that had white eyes, blood stain claws, and black stuff dripping from their mouths. their faces were disfigured and their bodies were twisted in agony. one of the creatures screech at me, "Ah!" I screamed, i drop the flowers an ran towards my grandma house.

"AHHHHHAHHHA" I heard what sounded like man yelling, i thought it was grandpa so i ran out of the field as fast as i could. "Granny!" I shouted, I ran towards the kitchen, and saw grandma using her miko powers to block who ever was trying to get in, and i saw grandpa using a kitchen knife to fight off some men in what seem to be gas mask. I look to right and saw something standing outside the window, I saw that it was a person...a very tall person. he had cuts, black cuts, and it face…it was wearing a pyramid helmet? "who is that...?" I mumbled, the person started to move and it was swinging at the men and creatures outside. "oh my god..." I was shaking in absolute fear, the man or whatever it was, it was killing the creatures and men with a huge knife with one hand...it Inhuman!"what's happening..." I looked back to see grandma and grandpa fighting, I ran over to my grandmother, helping her blocking the monsters from coming inside the house. I was crying then, thinking about were we going to make it or not. when the monsters stop, my Grandmother look at me with her sweet smile she gave to everyone. She had tears flowing from her eyes, I heard her saying to grandpa "No….she can't take our grand daughter…our granddaughter…I won't Allowed!" she shouted. 'who is she? Who is she talking about?' my Grandmother look back at me. She was worrying me, what was making her act like this?

"Kagome, listen to me sweetheart. you must go with you grandpa, you must escape from here." she told me, " you and grandpa with escaped this small town." I looked at her like she had lost her mind. "Granny! Are you Crazy! We can't leave you all alone By yourself! Did not see what happen!" I shouted at her.

My grandmother broken in sobs, and she hugged me. "kagome…have you ever wondered why there are no children in this town?" she asked me, "yes…" I answered, ever since I arrived here with my grandparents 2 years ago, I never saw any kids my age here in silent hill. "It is because someone took them, and whatever took them...we will not let it take you." she explained to me, " We won't let that happen!" she dunged in her pocket, pulling out a small necklace that was a star with a black small diamond in the middle.(AN/ I mean this۞)

"Now kagome, this is a special pendent, it will protect you, no matter what." she put the necklace around me, and then kissed my grandpa. "Kagome...I love you and sota..." she had tears coming out her eyes and had a small sad smile. "Now go with you grandpa, I will make sure that they will not follow you. Kai...I love you." Grandpa hugged grandma tightly and I was crying, I had no idea what was going on, I was scared to death. "I love you mayumi." I cried, My grann grandp and I hugged each other and crying.

"I Love you kagome." "I Love you too Granny." everything was quite till they came back... The men beat and kick on the door. "Oh No! they're back! Go! Go NOW!" she turned back and fought the monsters, I just stood there watching my Granny killing the monsters off with her miko powers. "KAGOME! PLEASE RUN! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME! I LOVE YOU! NOW RUN!" She screamed, I grabbed grandpa hand, he and i escaped though the back door

"AHAHAHAAHAH! YOU WILL NOT HAVE HER! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY CHRISTABELLA! GET YOUR DAMN HANDS OFF OF ME" I heard my Grandmother Screaming in anger and fear. "Nooooo!" I stop running. I drop on my knees and starting crying. I saw that my grandmother begin taking away with a men holding her down and the men were setting the house on fire and that it had explode. "granny…." I said ,I looked at the Dark Sky then back at the burning house, whispering. "I Love you too Granny, I always will." with that I saw the monsters coming my our way, grandpa and I started to run again. Running…I was running…from this place…this place called silent hill, running…we finally made it to the car and started to drive out of the town never looking back.

"...When the evening falls and the daylight is fading...From within me calls - could it be I am sleeping? ..For a moment I stray, then it holds me completely...As I walk there before me a shadow...From another world, where no other can follow...Carry me to my own, to where I can cross over...Forever searching; never right,...I am lost in oceans of night...Forever hoping I can find memories...Those memories I left behind... ."
