"Lt. Roberts." Lt Commander Harmon Rabb Jr called from his office.

"Yes sir." Bud said as he stood before him.

"Can I get you to take this file to Major Mackenzie please." He said, handing over his notes for the prosecution of a Marine office accused of fraternization.

"Yes sir. But why can't you take it to her sir?" he asked, accepting the file off Harm.

"Because she is being a jarhead right now and we are not on speaking terms." Harm replied. "I think that is enough of an explanation. You are dismissed Lt."

"Aye, aye sir." Bud said, snapping to attention before turning and leaving.

Major Sarah Mackenzie's office.

"Ma'am, Commander Rabb asked me to give this to you." Bud said handing over the file.

"Thank you Bud. But why couldn't he do it himself?" she asked, looking up just in time to see the blinds being closed by her partner and best friend.

"He said and I quote, 'She is being a jarhead right now and we are not on speaking terms.'" Bud said.

"Oh really? Thank you again Bud. I might have a little word with him." Mac said dismissing him.

Commander Rabb's Office.

Harm was just about secure for the day when his office door swung open revealing a very pissed and upset Marine.

"So you say that I am being a jarhead right now huh? Well what about you? You won't talk to me, you don't drop by for a coffee anymore. What the hell is going on Rabb?" Mac yelled.

"Woah calm down. You can't talk. You won't talk to me either, you keep saying you're busy. So what the hell is going on with you Mackenzie?" he yelled back.

"Don't tell me to calm down. Yes I have been busy, I've tried ringing you. You never pick up." Mac yelled, as tears start streaming down her face.

"Oh Mac, I'm sorry." He said, moving towards her.

"Don't 'Oh Mac' me. You are not forgiven." Mac said before turning and walking out of his office towards the stairs.

"Rabb, what did you do to her?" Admiral asked watching as his best Marine walked out of the bull pen in tears.

"I haven't been a very good friend towards Mac." He replied.

"Well you better go catch up to her before she does something stupid." Admiral said as he watched the Commander all but ran towards the stairs.

Mac's apartment. Mac's POV

'Ouch'I thought as I inspect my ankle. 'That's is either a sprain or break. Stupid Rabb.'

Suddenly there was a knock on my door.

"Coming." I said as I all but hobble towards the door. "Ouch. God dammit."

"Mac are you okay?" Harm said.

"Stupid stairs, pieces of crap." I mumbled.

End of POV

"Mac?" Harm called as he heard mumblings coming through her door.

More mumbling and thumping.

"That's it. I'm coming in." Harm said as he grabbed the spare key to her apartment and let himself in.

"Get out. I don't want to see you or talk to you." Mac said as she tried to stand up straight.

"Mac are you hurt?" he asked, noticing that she is holding her ankle.

"No, I thought it would be great fun to you know hang around on the floor and hold my ankle. What do you think Einstein." Mac sarcastically said as she all but fell down again only to land in Harm's arms.

"Don't be sarcastic. Tell me what happened?" he asked as she wriggled to get out of his grasp. "And don't struggle."

"I fell down the stairs when I went to get my mail a little earlier." Mac replied as she was placed on the lounge.
