Prologue
Isshin Kurosaki sighed as he re-aligned - not that he wanted to, anyway - the shattered pelvis of either an idiotic or very idiotic male teen. The teen ran into Ichigo with a couple of his friends.
Now, you're probably thinking why the teen would be in such a state if he ran into Ichigo. Well, let's rephrase that sentence. The teenager TEAMED UP WITH HIS FRIENDS TO BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF Ichigo. Let's just say, it was unsuccessful and THEY got THEIR asses handed to them.
'What happened to you my son?'' Isshin thought as he ignored a particular shrill shriek of pain when he pushed a particular bone fragment back into its place. Apparently, his patient was awake - not that he was really paying attention to the idiot.
You're also, probably, wondering what caused Ichigo to turn physically maim someone until they could no longer walk. You see, after his mother's death and seeing her dead body on top of his, he developed schizophrenia and his mind snapped. If you weren't careful around him, he would literally hand you your ass, guts, and brains on a silver platter to you. Now, what causes him to do this to someone varies quite a bit and it is impossible to tell what will cause him to flip out. Here's an example, if made fun of his hair, he would slaughter you but if you said the same thing to him later on, he would ignore you or he would slaughter you again. By slaughter, I mean he would literally pull a katana and/or a pair of pistols and start butchering you with them.
'I wonder what caused Ichigo to snap. My guess this idiot decided to gang up and Ichigo taught them their lesson… yeah, that sounds about right. He probably beat them into the ground while laughing hysterically...' Isshin shuddered when he recalled that laugh. It was horrifying and once again he ignored the shriek and the pleads of stop.
Now, things were only made worse when Ichigo's adoptive uncle came along. This man was just as terrifying as vasto lorde hollow. He appeared out of nowhere and by reasons only known to himself and Isshin, he adopted Ichigo as his illegitimate nephew. In terms of terrifying, here are the reasons why:
He was as eccentric as Urahara which was saying something.
As crazy as Isshin. Also saying something.
Had mood swings the size of Texas.
Had the temper of a pregnant lady.
Had the energy of Yachiru on candy and an old lady at a jumble sale.
Had a gun obsession. It didn't matter what kind of gun and/or already had it, he would still buy it.
And:
As battle-hungry as Kenpachi. Again, saying something.
He insisted on being called "Kowai" meaning "scary" for reasons only Ichigo knows because he was trained in battle by his uncle. Since, Ichigo spent so much time around Kowai, he became the younger version of the said man. Well almost the younger version, considering he wasn't as eccentric as Urahara, as crazy as Isshin, and didn't have mood swings the size of Texas. What he did have was his inability to consume anything except for blood, the temper of a pregnant lady, the energy of Yachiru on candy and an old lady at a jumble sale, a gun obsession, a pointy and sharp object obsession, as battle-hungry as Kenpachi, spontaneous and random bouts of hysterical laughter, sadistic tendencies, and a huge love for the dark.
Isshin sighed for, pretty much, the 100th time that day. He really hoped Soul Society would still function properly and still be in one piece once Ichigo was done with them. Well, IF and WHEN the orangette gets there. Which the nutty-as-a-fruitcake man hoped that wouldn't happen in a million years. In fact -
"YOU CRAZY OLD MAN! WATCH WHAT YOU'RE DOING! WAAAAAAHHHH! ITAI ITAI ITAI!"
