Star Wars Episode 3: The Dumbest Line Ever
I don't own Star Wars or anything else.
No flames with out a 'good' explanation.
"If you are not my ally, then you are my enemy!" Vader declared as he ignited his crystal-blue blade. Both Sith and Jedi paced in a circle.
"Only the Sith deal in absolutes," Obi-wan answered. Anakin broke out laughing.
"What did you just say? Who wrote that line? That was about the dumbest thing I've ever heard, and I've been around Jar Jar," Anakin chuckled. Obi-wan blushed embarrassingly.
"I know it's really stupid," Obi-wan agreed. "It doesn't make sense at all," Obi-wan added. "I mean, Sideous and you have continually made up lies and excuses for your actions, trying to justify them. The Jedi are the ones who deal in absolutes. We have a strict code that can't be bent. Only with absolutes can there be real evil. For evil can only exist if there is good, and definite evil can only exist with definite good."
Vader spoke now: "Like choking Padme is evil. Now I could say it's good, but that would be breaking the rules of the Sith 'dealing in absolutes'. When people in the audience see me slaying thousands of Jedi, including women and children, they would say I'm evil. Now there are the exceptions, but those guys usually thought of as being punks and hooligans. Now if the majority of people, who don't even agree on toilet paper brands, let alone an important matter, can agree that I'm evil, there must be some kind of absolute."
Obi-wan continued: "Who would say Sideous is a good guy just making his way through life? Vader might, but he's evil. Sideous and Vader are evil. The Jedi are good. So the Jedi accept absolutes, so they can tell the difference between good and evil, and thus, absolutes are not a part of the lying, treacherous Sith teaching, because morals would hinder there evil plans. But morals make the Jedi strong, and with out them, we would not be unlike the Sith."
"I resent that remark!" Vader answered back.
"But its true. And there's another absolute. Truth. For example, when Mace Windu has pinned Sideous into a corner, we know Mace has just fought for his life and won. But Palpatine lies to little Ani, making the youth believe that Mace Windu is trying to assassinate him. But we all know what really happened. That's truth. The truth is that Mace was merely trying to bring a mass murderer to justice, while the lie was that Mace was the evil assassin. The Sith are not absolute. Everything they do is related to some form of evil, and that would be the only absolute that applies to them. They are absolutely evil."
Please Review, if you'd like. Like I said before, if you flame me, then at least have a good reason for it.
