A/N: Written for the PMMM Flash Bingo, #001 – Madoka Kaname
Kind to a Fault
She was kind to a fault.
That was the perfect line for her,
the perfect marker for her grave
and it would have been on there,
carved in tight, if it hadn't been
for this curse she'd wrought around –
It wasn't Madoka's fault: this.
She'd chosen on her own
but by doing so, she'd loosed a ball of wool
that wrapped around them both.
Her crime was only that: that
she was kind to a fault
and that kindness let another to give chase,
to try and stop a grave from being wrought.
