So lonely
*set before the start of the series
It was finally Joanne Walkers day off and she was bored out of her mind. It was days that this that Joanne wished that she had a close friend to hang out with or a boyfriend that could take her to the movies. Not that she didn't have friends mind you, it was just most of them were the people that she worked in the garage. All of them men who would be shocked to see Joanne act like a woman instead of the tough girl that everyone thought she was.
Just once Joanne would like someone that she could talk to about important things and share the feelings that she had to hide every day. A friend that she could talk to about Morrison….
"Stop it! There's no point in thinking about him today. Besides, even if I had someone to talk to about how annoying Morrison is then they would more than likely just give me one of those annoying little looks like they know something I don't."
The people did that to her all the time at work whenever Joanne started fighting with Morrison over anything. It's like they thought that there was something going on between them, which was of course complete nonsense. Like Morrison would even look at her that way.
But that was beside the point of her internal musings. Joanne needed to get out of her apartment more if she was going to spend her day off talking to herself. Not that Joanne really knew where to go to make new friends because heaven only knows she didn't.
So after that thought came into her head Joanne just decided to play on the internet some more. At least that way she could pretend that she wasn't lonely.
