Freddie wasn't allowed out of his room until he apologized to his mother. He had done what he was told, but the problem was that he had not done it when she asked. He refused to apologize, claiming she was being absurd. Never the less, he had not been aloud to leave his room and as a result, he missed filming iCarly. 'So what if I didn't do the dishes when I got home. I did them eventually...' he thought. 'I bet she wouldn't even know if I left. She's not about to come in here and apologize...' Freddie went to the window, climbed onto the fire escape, and went down to the alley below so he could take the elevator back up to Carly's apartment.
Carly and Sam had just finished doing iCarly without Freddie and were now sitting on the couch downstairs in the living room. "So what do you want to do for the next iCarly?" Carly asked Sam.
Sam's mind was preoccupied, so she answered without really thinking."Err I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"Well, I was thinking that we should add a new segment to the show to, you know, spice things up a bit," Carly suggested. Before Sam could answer, the elevator door opened and Freddie stepped out. "What are you doing here?" Carly asked, sounding frustrated. "Does your mother know you are out of your room?"
"Relax," Freddie reassured her, walking over to the couch. "She doesn't know I'm out, but I plan to go back before she-"
"FREDWARD BENSON!" His mother's voice cut through his words from across the hall.
"Well, I guess she knows," Sam said to Freddie laughing.
Freddie turned to Carly and asked if he could hide here until his mother was gone. Carly replied with a simple yea. She knew Freddie's mother was sociopath and would flip at just about anything. If she caught Freddie out of his room, she would ground him for sure. I was better she help hide him than losing her tech producer indefinitely.
