A/N) Why do I have to be in the mood for writing pointless fluff? Why? Anyway, I had this in my inbox for ages, so I figured I had better do something with it. And it sounded WAY CUTE so y'know - Texi fluff, anyone?

'Imagine Person A of your OTP reading while Person B dozes on their shoulder, all tangled up in the bedsheets.'

Lexi is aware Tom has hoarded most of the duvet right now, but she doesn't really mind. Tom has the warm sheets tucked up right to his chin. It's a fairly warm night, and her exposed skin feels comfortable in the slightly humid air in the bedroom.

She's also aware that Tom's head is lolling on her shoulder, and soft snores are emitting from his parted lips: a fact she would tease him about if he didn't look quite so damn cute fast asleep on her shoulder.

She's also dimly aware of the book she's supposedly reading which lies open on her lap, but she can't seem to get as easily engaged with it as she normally does. The characters don't seem to leap out at her right now, and the plot doesn't feel as gripping as she usually finds it. Still, she has nothing else to do right now since Tom is currently relying on her shoulder for a type of pillow, and she hasn't got the heart to move and wake him. So Lexi skims the well-thumbed pages of one of her favourite books, her eyes occasionally drifting to the sleeping boy next to her, like a powerful magnetic force.

Tom's going to find it pretty difficult to untangle himself from his mess when he wakes up, Lexi thinks in slight amusement as she surveys the tangled state of their bedsheets, most of which are folded around Tom's legs. She muffles a giggle as she pictures Tom trying to get untangled from the sheets, in the process getting himself more tied up. It's made more funny because it's not the first time it's ever happened. Tom tends to have a habit of tying himself up in the night.

Still, even when she puts the book down, conceding that her concentration just isn't there tonight, Lexi still doesn't move from her position propped up in the bed. It's actually surprisingly comfortable having Tom's warm head resting against her shoulder. Even though she would love to have a camera handy, just in case of later blackmail, Lexi feels content just lying there with Tom dozing peacefully next to her.

And even when she's tired and her heavy eyelids are slowly but surely drifting closed, she still makes sure not to wake the sleeping boy by moving. She would happily endure a aching neck in the morning for him.

And even when she falls asleep, her head lolling over onto her boyfriend's already slumped one, she's still faintly aware of unconsciously putting her arm around Tom's shoulders and snuggling up closer to him, getting the duvet a little tangled up around her long legs as well as she moves to get comfortable in the bed. They're definitely going to be just a little tied together in the morning by the duvet. But that won't matter now.

After all, it's a warm summer night.

And Tom and Lexi are snuggled up blissfully together, the duvet wrapped around them both, cocooning them in their own little warm world.

How could anything else matter now?
