I was up really late one night, when this came to mind. Of course, someone deep inside was begging me not to write it, but as usual, I didn't listen.

This is what Godric was doing before rescuing Sookie. It's why he took so long.

*Smacks forehead* Dooooooooom.

Now is the winter of our discontent, make glorious summer by the son of York. And all-

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Godric looked up from his copy of 'The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare.' "Hmm." There was more yelling, but that was common place in the basement of that blasted church. He felt a slight surge of pity for whatever poor soul they were 'bringing salvation to,' then continued reading. The Newlins had made it very clear he was not to interfere with their religion.

-made glorious summer by-

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

"For heaven's sake!" Typical. His last night on earth, and they would let him have some peace. Gawd, they were worse then his underlings during Hanukkah, or whatever that holiday was. Sighing, he marked his place with a piece of notebook paper.

"-fat vampire cock-" When that phrase floated to him, Godric felt shock. What on earth were they doing over there? Rolling up his sleeves, he walked to the door of his rather comfortable room. Er, 'cell.' The doorknob was silver hued. He recalled the slightly hilarious events of his first night there.

"You won't be able to leave this room." Steve Newlin said with a smirk. "I had this doorknob specially imported. Just in case," He and his wife exchanged smug smiles. "We had an Undead visitor. Made of pure silver." This was irrelevant, because Godric didn't plan on going anywhere. "Go ahead. Touch it!"

Godric obliged. Nothing happened, but he thought it'd be rude to point out. He didn't like these people. However, there was no need to ruin their day. "Ah, the pain, it burns." Both of them lost their smiles. Well, he tried. Not very hard, but tried.

"It's not real, is it."

"No, sorry."

The thought made a smile creep onto his face. 'Well,' Godric thought as he turned the still-not-silver knob, 'I haven't done my good deed of the day yet. Who needs rescuing this time?"

Ta Da!!!

Oh, BTW, I am working on another '20 Ways' List. Pam came in with the most votes, then Jason, Sam, and Stan. She's really hard to do, though. If you have any ideas, I'd like to hear 'em.
