I saw it as soon as she saw it. Bella was in serious trouble. I had to get back to forks, and fast. What if I'm too late? Did my leaving really push her this far over the edge? How long do I really have before…before…I can't even think about it. I can't think about what Bella might be ready to do to get away from the pain. That mutt had better stop her stall her at least.
