"Everyone Knows It's Sephy!"

"Come on…"

"No."

"Please?"

"No."

Cloud made puppy dog eyes. "Pretty please?"

"Forget it."

"Come on, Sephiroth. Just one more time?"

"No. In fact, I wouldn't have been singing that stupid song at all if I had known that you were listening."

"It's not all your fault. You always sing in the shower."

Sephiroth glared at him. "How did you know that!?"

Cloud chuckled nervously. "Uh, I like to hear you sing, so… I just listen by the door… hehehe."

Sephiroth made a fist. "Cloud, I'm gonna--"

At that moment, Zack entered the room. "Hey, what's up guys?"

Cloud sniffled. "Sephiroth won't sing for me!"

Zack stopped dead in his tracks. "Could you repeat that? Sephiroth can actually sing?"

Sephiroth shook his head. "Not in public!"

"Aw, come on! It sounded really good when you were in the shower!"

"What song was he singing?" Zack asked.

"I'm not gonna tell. He's gotta sing it."

Zack thought for a moment. "Can I try to guess?"

"You'll never get it in a million years!"

Sephiroth shook his head as he took his place on the couch, his arms folded in front of him.

"Was he singing 'Eye Of The Tiger?' by Survivor?" Zack asked.

Cloud shook his head. "No."

"Was it 'Heartbreaker' by Pat Benetar?"

"Nope."

"Was it 'Here I Go Again' by White Snake?"

"Not even close!"

For the next twenty minutes, Sephiroth had to sit there and listen to Zack think up a bunch of different, manly sounding rock songs while Cloud said no to each of them. Finally, he was fed up. "Alright, already!" he shouted as he jumped up from the couch. "I'll sing the song just once more…" he said that last sentence through clenched teeth.

"YAY!" Cloud exclaimed like an excited little girl.

Zack sat down next to Cloud and smirked. "We're waiting…"

Sephiroth gulped. He took a deep breath and just blurted out the song. "THEY WALK DOWNSTAIRS, ALONE IN THEIR PATHS, AND MAKE A CLINKETY SOUND. A THING! A THING! A MARVELOUS THING! EVERYONE KNOWS IT'S SLINKY! A SLINKY! A SLINKY! A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL TOY! A SLINKY! A SLINKY!--"

As he expected, he was cut off by Cloud's and Zack's burst of laughter. "MY SIDES HURT!" Cloud shouted.

"MINE, TOO!" Zack hollered back.

"Well, you wanted me to sing it, so you brought it on yourselves! Get a grip!" Sephiroth exclaimed as he marched out of the room, leaving Cloud and Zack to laugh their heads off… But as he walked away, he was still silently humming the Slinky song to himself.
