Just the start of many one-shots/drabbles in here. Criticism is strongly appreciated and recommended! I even appreciate flames, because it means my summary was good enough to get you to bother to read my story. I apologize if you expected something lengthier, I'm going to try for longer stories, but I had to get this out of my head first.
Disclaimer: I don't own Mimi, but I do own Itsuki! As proof, I have him tied up here in in this sack. Don't sue, I'm broke!
Tachikawa's pained whines continued to echo in his head, even though she'd left his house thirty minutes ago.
"How can I make you acknowledge me?"
He still didn't know how to respond.
"I don't want to be a burden to you anymore!"
He couldn't do anything for her, just watch her degrade herself.
"Is it you think I'm ugly? I'm sorry."
You are beyond beautiful, he wanted to say. But he couldn't move. He couldn't speak.
No matter how much he craved to comfort her, to tell her he was fine, he couldn't speak. He wanted to tell he liked it when she talked about everything and nothing. He liked it when she dragged him into emotionally draining situations, at least most of the time.
He liked her.
Thinking his silence was him shutting out her voice, she left, tears staining her cheeks.
Truly, thought Itsuki, I am the worst kind of person.
