Random drabble. While watching this action movie before the all day NCIS marathon came on USA network, I was kind of peeved at how bad the special effects loooked, and how I totally didn't believe it. I said that outloud, and my sister goes "SHUT UP!" and puts her little hand over my mouth. It was cute, so i shut up.

"That was not believable at all. The fire looked fake, and the gun didn't actually shoot anything. Just made the sound."
I sighed, listening to Ziva rant about the action movie we had just seen.
"And, he would be much more burned if he had actually been that close to the fire. It's just not believable."
"Ziva."
"And that girl could not hit him hard enough to cause damage."
"Ziva, it was just a movie."
"Yes, but it could be more real if they actually made it look real."
"They don't have to. Hollywood effects are all movies are these days."
"So? It could be more real!"
She went into yet another rant, and I finally got what she meant about me talking and talking about movies. I just listened, tapping my fingers against the steering wheel. I looked over at her. She didn't even seem to care that I wasn't listening.
"Ziva, it was just a movie."
"A very unbelievable movie."
"It was good."
"It was not."
I sighed, thinking of a way to shut her up. She was still talking, her hands waving in the air like an Italian. I smirked. I rolled to a stop at a red light, and turned to her. I watched her speak, and finally got an idea. Leaning over, I kissed her softly.
It effectively shut her up.
