They have breakfast and spend the day chatting. Both men know that at some point Ste should go home but now they found each other they couldn't bare to say goodbye.
"So Steven what do you do?"
"I've just been laid off work. I made website designs. Part of me is glad because it was so boring but I really need the money."
"Yeah I remember you mentioned two kids? Leah and Lucas?"
"Yeah they're my whole world."
"So… when did you find out you were gay? I mean you've got kids so you've obviously had sex with a woman"
Ste wasn't sure why he was telling Brendan this but it felt so right.
"I guess I've known since I was 12 but I tried to hide it and tried to be 'normal' so I dated this girl in my class called Amy. She got pregnant and we had Lucas."
"But Leah's older?"
"Yeah Leah isn't actually mine but I'll always love her like my own"
"You're incredibly responsible for a lad your age"
"I'm 18 that's not too young"
"Well I'm 24 just letting you know"
Ste gives a little laugh and starts quizzing Brendan. "So do you have any kids?"
"2 boys, twins. Leon and Jason but their Ma don't want me near them in case I make them gay"
"How long have you known you were gay?"
"Well like you I just wanted to be 'normal', my best friend came out as gay and he was tormented until he eventually killed himself"
"That's awful"
"Yeah. I've always been gay, I mean even when marrying Eileen I actually fancied the priest more than her. Needless to say she wasn't very happy when I told her"
"You told her you fancied the priest?"
Brendan gives a laugh "No, I told her I was gay. I think she blames herself no matter how many times I told her it's not her. Anyway we've established that I'm gay and so are you"
"Yeah"
"And the second I met you I knew you were into me"
"How?"
"Well you threw your arms around me and said I was sexy so I imagine you want to tap a bit of this?"
Ste blushes and smiles "Yeah I do"
Brendan leans in and kisses Ste deeply, running his fingers through his hair.
"Wait" Ste says breaking the kiss
"What? Don't you want this?"
"It's not that it's just… I've never had any experience with a man…yet"
"So?"
"I wanted to tell you now so you had the chance to bail"
"Steven, I'm not going to let you go just because you've never done things to man. In fact I think it makes it a little more exciting because A. I'll be your first gay sex and you'll never forget me and B. I can teach you everything… just the way I like it" He whispers in his ear. "I promise we can take it as slow as you want and wait as long as you need but for now I want more of this" He leans in and kisses Ste repeatedly until they both go light headed from the lack of oxygen.
"You're such an amazing kisser Steven!" Brendan says in between breaths
"You're not too bad yourself hot stuff" Ste says with a little wink
Brendan bites his lip and realises just how bad he wants to take this young man and fuck him hard.
They're both hot and turned on but Ste decides that he can't quite go all the way yet and Brendan, true to his promise, waits patiently, knowing that he'll be worth the wait.
