Hey, details are below.
Remus sat slumped in his bed in the hospital wing. His friends had visited him briefly before running off to class, so now he was alone with his thoughts. At this point on time it wasn't a very good thing.
Every time he woke up in here he could barely move. Remus knew that his friends were aware of this, they seemed to practically race around grabbing things for him before he even thinks about it. In some ways he found it to be annoying; male pride was an issue at times like this. He couldn't just sit around all day, he had stuff to do, essays to finish, pranks to plan...
Remus sighed, wincing as he tested out his arms. They felt like they were on fire; what on earth did he do the night before?
It was also at times like this that he would remember just how lucky he was. Somehow he'd found a group of amazing friends who actually did care about him; they completely overlooked his affliction, which still managed to raise his parents' eyebrows every now and then. How they managed to be so tolerant of Remus was beyond him.
He glanced over at his bedside table. It hurt to smile, but the note, bundle of books and bag of Honeydukes treats left on the varnished wood caused him to grin like a fool.
Hey Moony,
Here's a bunch of stuff to stop you going crazy from boredom in there. How you can stand it so long is beyond us. See you at dinner, mate.
Padfoot, Wormtail and Prongs.
Yeah, he wouldn't trade friends like these for the world...
