"Oh dear, the other children are still being mean to Sherlock." Mrs. Hudson sighed out loud to herself when she saw Sherlock sitting by himself again with a book.

Mrs. Hudson walked over to the little boy with black curly hair and big blue grey eyes. "Sherlock dear, why aren't you playing with any of the other children?" she inquired the small boy.

"They called me names again so I thought I would read rather than be bothered by them." Sherlock told her not looking away from his book.

"Well then if you're sure then I guess it's fine that you don't play with the others today." Mrs. Hudson told him knowing better than to try and push him.

After a little while the new family came by to see if they would like the daycare center.

"Hello Mrs. Watson welcome to Baker Street Daycare." Mrs. Hudson said. She then looked down and saw a small boy with sandy blond hair and blue eyes looking around nervously. "Well hello there sweetie. What's your name?" Mrs. Hudson asked the small boy.

"John, John Watson. Do you have any books here?" the small boy named John asked timidly.

"Yes we do they are over there by the boy with dark hair. His name is Sherlock if you would like to say hi." She told him while his mother watched with a small smile at John wanting to find books right away.

"Can I go and look mom?" John asked his mother before running off.

"Of course sweetheart, don't forget to ask before playing with the other children." Mrs. Watson reminded her son as he scurried off to where Sherlock sat reading his book. The two women watched the two boy interact for a few minutes.

"Well at least Sherlock is not being rude to him." Mrs. Hudson said out loud not meaning for Mrs. Watson to hear.

"What do you mean? Is that Sherlock boy mean?" Mrs. Watson asked worried that John would not want to come back to the only good daycare center around.

"Not that he is mean, more that, the other children make fun of him for being so smart, reading books for older children. So he tends to be a little rude to anyone new that approaches him so that they will leave him alone sooner. You know before they are mean." She explained to the worried mother.

"Oh well I hope John remembers his manners." Mrs. Watson said thoughtfully before continuing. "I think I might do the leaving for an hour idea we talked about. You have my cell number so if John wants me or anything happens."

"Of course I am very happy you like the daycare enough to true it without you here on the first visit." Mrs. Hudson said as they walked back towards the entrance.

"It seems like a lovely place and John seems okay so far." Mrs. Watson said as she looked over to her son talking to the black haired boy.

"I agree. I do think that John and the daycare is going to be a lovely fit." Mrs. Hudson said before a brief good-bye.

After about a half hour in which Mrs. Hudson had to cheer up one little girl who was pushed down Mrs. Hudson looked over to where Sherlock had been earlier.

"Well it looks like Sherlock might have a friend after all." She said with a smile seeing John and Sherlock curled up together in the big chair as Sherlock read a book that was a bit advance for most of the other children.
