Author's Note: Have you ever imagined Rurouni Kenshin characters being covert or compare to Inuyasha? This is a story but the realisation after watching the entire episodes of RuroKen and Inuyasha had made me wrote this…

1. Himura Kenshin – Inuyasha
(They're the main character, so yeah. In addition, both of them were evil in the past.)
2. Kamiya Kaoru – Higurashi Kagome
(Kaoru to Kagome have a similarities because Kenshin found his new love and marry her in the end of the series just like how Inuyasha end up having a life with Kagome in the feudal era. And they live happily ever after. The End!)
3. Yukishiro Tomoe – Kikyo
(Inuyasha and Kenshin had first love someone in the past but died. Also, both of them have the same hairstyles and they were lovelier than Kaoru and Kagome. Did I mention that they look alike? -both matured and classy?)
4. Sagara Sanosuke - Miroku
(Sanosuke was Kenshin's best pal so was Miroku to Inuyasha.)
5. Takani Megumi – Sango
(Miroku was a womanizing lecher who was always hit by Sango and that made me think of Megumi hitting the poor boy, Sanosuke every time he did stupid and silly things. And I noticed that Sango only hits Miroku so was Megumi to the said boy and that made this pairing so cute and adorable. *squeal with joy* Plus, SanoMeg and MirSan are both secondary couples too in the series.)
6. Shinomori Aoshi – Sesshomaru
(Sesshomaru is the Lord of Western Lands while Aoshi was the okashira/leader of the Oniwabanshuu. They both had the hatred for the main character and these guys were high and mighty, calm and stoic -had an ice walls that only a certain person could melt and bring the best in them. Both of them were gorgeous and HOT. *fangirl squeals*)
7. Makimachi Misao – Rin
(Misao, 16, a ninja who was raised and protected by Aoshi, 26 whom she fell in love with. On the other hand, Rin, 8 was the kid saved by Sesshomaru, 18 from her death and protected her til' the end. Both girls have 10 years age gap to their leaders and loyal to them. But in the case of Sesshomaru, he looks literally in his 18 years but was immortal and almost lived by 300 years.)
8. Myojin Yahiko – Shippo
(These characters eagers to be strong like the main character in the story. They were also called and known as the cute kid of the entire plot. Well, think about Yahiko being adopted by Kaoru and Shippo being encouraged by Kagome to join their group!)
9. Makoto Shishio – Naraku
(These are the wicked characters who were obsessed in power and reign. But the difference is Shishio wasn't obsessed with Himura's wife because he had Yumi with him while Naraku loves Kikyo so much that his wish was just to be with her. Unfortunately, the jewel didn't grant his greatest desire and that remained his love unrequited. And also, you can see their character concept have similarities. Shishio used to be a good looking too. Due to his rebellions, the Meiji officials decided to burn him and die. But he survived - that explains his scary appearance. While Naraku, on the other hand, had changed his unattractive appearance because of his too much lust for Kikyo, he let the demons ate him away and born into a new man, new face and he was called Naraku.)
10. Seta Soujiro – Kohaku
(Kohaku was a nice guy but Naraku controlled his heart and used him just like how Soujiro was used by Shishio's wickedness. Both are pawns for the evil character.)
11. Cho – Bankotsu
(These guys are really obsessed on killing someone. How creepy to be with them! Plus, both are pawns for the evil character too.)
And the last but not the least…
The time and settings of the story are both historical which conveys some details of the History of Japan. The feudal era was a time in Japan where monsters and demons beliefs existed and you could see temples are built everywhere. The Meiji era is the time when samurais couldn't adapt the new way of life and Japanese couldn't adapt the Western concepts of living.
