Chocolate
Mamoru had the strangest feeling of déjà vous. It was dark, and a light fog clung to the air coating the world in a soft purple haze. Mamoru stepped through the feeling like he should know what was coming next, but couldn't quite remember. The path he was on led him to a crumbled stone staircase. He looked up, suddenly certain of what he would see. As if on cue, a figure emerged from the fog.
"Princess" Mamoru whispered reverently.
"Help me Endymion!" The girl called, her voice all but absorbed by the fog until only the faintest echo reached Mamoru's ears. She called out something else but he couldn't quite make out what it was. He took another cautious step towards the girl listening harder.
"How can I save you Princess? Tell me what you need!" Her voice rang out again, this time louder
"Double chocolate fudge brownie. Please Endymion. Double chocolate fudge brownie!"
Mamoru's eyes shot open and he sat bolt upright in bed bathed in a fine layer of sweat. He looked at his very pregnant wife currently doing her best to pretend to be asleep.
"Dammit, Usako." He growled as he shoved his feet into his shoes. "You could have just asked me to go to the store" As he shuffled out of the room, a faint smile graced his princess' face.
