Hi everyone

Hi everyone! Happy Easter! How goes all? Well, random idea I had while listening to my iPod, blocking out the chatter around me. Seriously no idea where it came from but still. I'm sorry about the length and the fact it's really crappy but I wrote it in about 7 minutes and the plot bunny wasn't very big. It was a baby bunny.

On with the show!

Three Simple Words

Naruto sat slumped at the kitchen table in the apartment he shared with his long-term boyfriend, Sasuke.

He sighed heavily, closing his eyes and feeling the cool wood sooth his headache.

It was currently 5:30 and Sasuke was due home any minute. Naruto sighed again thinking about his boyfriend's arrival and how much trouble it will cause and the daunting task that lay ahead of him.

'God knows I love him' Naruto thought sadly 'But I just wish he will say those three small I desperately want to hear.'

The sound of the front door being opened caused the blonde to crack his deep blue eyes open lazily.

"Naruto?" Sasuke called out into the quiet house 'Something's wrong here, he's never quiet' Sasuke thought worriedly.

"In here" Naruto called back weekly, not moving his head from its position.

Sasuke moved through the living room, following the sound of his boyfriend's voice and came through into the dining room to see his love slumped on the table.

"What's wrong? Are you okay? Is Kyuubi causing you trouble again?" Sasuke asked worriedly, placing a hand on his shoulder and crouching down so his head was level with the blondes and stared into the blue eyes he loved so much.

"No, it's nothing to do with Kyuubi, I'm all right I have a migraine and was hoping to just rest tonight" Naruto replied staring at the raven man 'Please say it, please say those three words. Make me feel better.' Naruto thought desperately

Sasuke sighed and stroked the blondes hair lovingly. "If you want…" he began.

'Please' Naruto thought pleadingly one last time.

"…I'll cook tonight"

Naruto grinned and pounced on his boyfriend "That'd be wonderful, thank you Sasuke!"

'He said them; he said those three words I've wanted to here. "I'll cook tonight"Naruto thought happily.

Hope you enjoyed it. I won't beg you to review but it would be nice if you did. You'd have the satisfaction of knowing that you had brightened up my day! Or should I say evening/night. Enjoy yourselves! Drive safe!
