"This has to get them together" said Hermione frustrated as she brewed the love potion.

"Yeah I don't think I can stand the mood swings he's been having anymore" agreed Ron

"Finally it's complete!" exclaimed Hermione triumphantly, as she added the final ingredient, "Ron you should pour it in Harry's drink at breakfast tomorrow. According to this book it should make him fall deeply in love with the first person he sees"

END OF FLASHBACK

Harry looked wildly around the hall why were people looking at him? Locking eyes with Ernie Macmillan he felt compelled to approach him. As he got closer to the Hufflepuff table all he felt was an extreme longing for the bemused Hufflepuff.

"Ernie I have loved you since the first day I met you. I think we should date, get married and adopt several children like Madonna. I believe we are destined to be together and cannot hide it any longer!"

The whole hall was looking at him by now amazed by Harry's confession. And even more so when he began serenading Ernie who by now was looking very embarrassed.

"Every night in my dreams I see you" Harry began until Ron and Hermione grabbed him firmly around the waist and dragged him out of the Great Hall.

"What's the antidote?" asked Ron panicking

"According to the book we need to find his true love" answered Hermione

"How the bloody hell do we do that?" asked Ron

"Well there is a spell that I've read about but it is really hard" said Hermione

"Well go on try it!" encouraged Ron

"Amor vincit omnia" said Hermione flicking her wand in a heart shape at Harry.

Immediately a pink glow surrounded Harry and began pulling him back towards the Great Hall and firmly in front of… Snape!?

"Okay Hermione you must have cast it wrong!" said Ron looking like he was going to faint.

"Amor vincit omnia" said Hermione again

Again the pink glow surrounded Harry and took him towards… Goyle!?

"Please try again?" asked Ron desperately

Again the pink glow surrounded Harry and took him towards… Malfoy!?

At this Dumbledore interrupted his eyes twinkling with amusement "Hermione you cannot find someone's true love, since the future and ourselves are forever changing it could be anyone, Mr Potter merely needs to kiss someone"

At this Snape bellowed "I refuse to accept that I could one day care about this brat!" and then proceeded to exit the hall his robes billowing in his haste.

Not paying attention Harry bent down and claimed Draco's mouth with is own.

"Finally I've always wanted to do that" Harry said with a smile as he regained awareness

"Likewise Potter and Malfoy's always get what they want" said Draco who then continued kissing Harry oblivious to the shock on everyone's faces, Ron fainting, Hermione smirking and Ernie crying.
