I ran. I ran as fast as I could. He was sprinting in my direction, getting closer and closer. My legs were burning beneath me, begging for me to stop. I wanted to stop and rest, but I couldn't. He can't catch me, he just… he can't.

Despite the pain I was feeling, I sped up. If possible, my breathing increased. I got farther away from the man who was chasing me, but that did not last. The man behind me also sped up, advancing on me. I took a left into an alley, trying to lose him. Once I was at the end of that alley, I took a right, trying to lose him in this maze, but to no avail. After many turns, I reached a dead end. I looked around, and saw there was nothing I could climb, so I turned around to face the person after me.

He ran into the alley I was in, smirking when he saw I was trapped. He walked towards me slowly, prolonging this torture. I stood, ready to fight if necessary.

"You can't fight this, Tris. There's no escaping it," he said, looking me dead in the eye. All of the sudden, he was in front of me, his hands going to my sides. I felt loud laughter leave my lips, echoing throughout the alleyways. He tickled me with no mercy.

"Tobias… please st-stop," I said in between laughs. His smirk grew to a large grin.

"Tell me you love me," he said, momentarily pausing his tickling session. I looked up at him, mischievousness in my eyes.

"Hmmmmm… I don't know if you really deserve it," I said, pretending to think. He shrugged, and went back to his torturous tickling.

"FINE, fine, fine. Tobias Eaton, I love you," I said. The smile on his face grew. He leaned down, and connected our lips.

The kiss was short, but sweet. I reached for his hand, and intertwined our fingers. We walked home in a comfortable silence. I was thinking about our relationship.

Two years ago, I was shot… twice. It was apparently really bad. No one thought I was going to make it. I was in a coma for a week, but I obviously woke up. It was a long recovery though.

Ever since then, Tobias and I have gotten closer. It was almost as if that incident made him realize we have no idea how long we have each other on this earth, so why waste the time.

He makes me so happy. I smiled down at the ring on my finger, knowing it would only be a few more months. We're keeping it small. No need to make that big of a fuss about it.

Although, it meant the world to me. He meant the world to me.

A/N: So, I did a thing. I was not satisfied with the ending of Allegiant (WHO WAS?!), so I wrote this. This was (obviously) based off the books, and not the pathetic excuses for movies. I'm a bit bitter about the movies (except the first one), in case you hadn't noticed. If you wanna, follow or favorite this one-shot. Please leave a review, because I ship Fourtris.
