E, Ed, Edd, Eddy, n' Eddie
This is my first story, so don't kill me if it isn't good. I hope it is. Oh, and sorry, but E won't appear until later, again, sorry.
Chapter 1: So it begins
It had been sunny that fateful day, the day when the new kid came. The Eds were talking about what they were going to do for a scam. "Eddy, it would never work, I mean, just the sheer weight and capacity would.." Double D began, but of course, Eddy interupted him, "Put a sock in it Sockhead." Here Eddy hesitated before continuing. "Since sockhead here doesn't think the 'Skate-all' won't work, then I'll make another scam." Eddy gave Double D a glare, and Ed simply said, "I eat cereal with gravy, Eddy." Eddy twisted his face into a disgusted look and Double D stared at him and said, as always, "Thank you for sharing that with us Ed." After a short silence, they started talking about the scam again.
Now, we turn our attention to an empty house. After a while, three U-Haul trucks came to a stop in front of the empty house in the Cul-de-Sac. That house had always been there, empty, since all the kids had lived there. Everyone in the Cul-de-Sac turned their attention to the house. Suddenly, a super-fast white van just zoomed past them all and parked itself in the driveway, too. What could this be? Two adults were walking away into the old house. But of course, they weren't facing the kids, so no one could se theit faces. A girl with silver-tinted shades, two ponytails tied to brunette hair with red ribbons, and a schoolgirl-looking outfit on stepped out of the van after her parents. She was smiling widely and looked exited.
Double D watched the girl walk up to them. He started to greet her, but Eddy stuffed him in his hat. "I'm the leader, so I'm the one to introduce her to everyone, got it Sockhead?" he made it a point to keep silent, but then saw her watching them, her head cocked. Eddy blushed. "Um, hi! I'm Eddie." She replied. "What a coincidence! I'm Eddy, but with an y at the end! This is Ed-" Ed smacked Eddy on the shoulder, muttering, "Ain't gonna have buttered beans tonight!" Eddy gave him the 'Shut-up-I'm-gonna-kill-you-later' look, and got back to introducing. "And this is Double D." Double D had just popped out of his hat, and was fixing it. "Salutations, stranger, and welcome to Peach Creek!" He greeted, and they shook hands. "So what do you do around here, anyway?" Eddie wondered aloud. "Glad you asked. We scam all the kids to get money to buy jawbreakers!" Eddy awnsered. Perfect, Eddie thought, smiling slightly to herself.
