Chaos was everywhere, and everyone was heading in Eren's direction after he hit the roof. Mina then screamed as a titan caught her cords.
"Please help, I don't want to die!" She yelled while tears rolled down her eyes. It was useless, as she looked around to see everyone else in the same predicament. She squeezed her eyes shut and prepared for the intense pain.
Seconds passed, and yet she felt nothing. Then she started falling to the ground, screaming. The sound of someone using their maneuver gear went off and she was air-born again. Looking back, she saw the titan that had her laying face down on the ground. Next she looked at her savior's face only to find it covered by a mask with a giant smile on it.
What felt like an hour passed and then the mysterious persons gear started to sputter, obviously low on gas. When they landed they were a ways from the walls and in an open area in a forest. Without thinking, she turned to the person and quickly asked a question she had to ask.
"Who the hell are you? Take off that ridiculous mask!"
"Oh? You don't remember me Mina?" It was a man's voice with a soft tone. "I wouldn't expect you to, it's been forever and I do have this mask on." He then removed the mask revealing gentle, sky blue eyes, lush, light brown hair, a lightly tanned face, and a kind smile. "What about now?"
"Oh my god." Is all she said, covering her mouth with both hands and backing away from him. "But you died! I saw you fall from that mountain side!" Tears started flowing from her eyes and she dropped to her knees.
"It's me Mina, it's me, Seto." He wrapped his arms around her and comforted her. "And this time, I'm not disappearing." Exhaustion suddenly rolled over Mina and she fell asleep in Seto's arms.
(Flashback)
Mina, sitting on the edge of the cliff near the training camp, looked to the sky, smiling.
"Oh mama I miss you." Tears started rolling down her face and she let out a cry. A young Seto walked out the bushes to see a bawling Mina. He silently walked behind her and hugged her.
"Who the heck!" She exclaimed, surprised. She turned to face him and her face instantly turned rose red. "Uh… um… what was that for?" She looked to the ground frowning.
"I was always taught to do whatever is necessary to cheer someone up!" He gave a toothy grin and then lifted her chin up. "So, what's your name and what's wrong?"
"My name? It's… it's Mina… Mina Carolina. I guess I'm just missing my parents, no different from everyone else." She looked to the ground again, blushing harder.
"Yea, we all are. But… what is it that you miss about them?" He lifted her chin again.
"What kind of question is that? I miss them being with me of course! I miss how my mom would dance with me and how my dad would make even the worst situations feel safe!" Her redness went away and was replaced by a stern look.
"Well… I can't bring them back but…" He extended his hand to her. "I can dance with you!" When she didn't take his hand, he grabbed it and lifted her from the ground.
"Let… let go of me idiot." She started to blush harder than ever.
"Just let me guide you." They started to dance to his humming. "Hey, I know it's sudden, but do you have an eye on anybody here?"
"Well… no." She looked down again.
"Well… accept this." He slowed the dancing and lifted her chin and brought their faces closer together. She closed her eyes and brought hers as well until a rumble shook the ground and the fell. The cliff side started to slant and soon it was obvious they could die.
"GO!" He yelled and shoved her to safety. He was unlucky and began his freefall into what seemed to be hell's abyss.
