Nobody's promise

She run to him through the forest, over the dirt road that is so familiar to you.

You reach the deck and peer inside looking at forgotten things that were left behind. Just like her.

She stepped off the deck and looked up at his window. No one was there to cry to or to beg to.

He left her, she tried to stop him her efforts failed. All she could do was cry "Why oh, why".

She feels like eyes set on her, she turns around to meet his eyes. How is this possible? Was what she thought.

He starts to step away from her and invites her in. She steps forward and goes to touch him. Her would turns dark and empty but the ting of the chimes brought he back to reality. A news paper lays on the ground at her feet. His picture on the front page. Lost in a car accient after he tried to leave her but now he was never coming back……..

The last days of his life with me and my promise…….

I stand on the cliff too watch the light disappear at twilight. The hot summer wind blew in my hair as I look over the horizon but all I could see is him. Dark, dangerous, and mine. He walked coolly over to me and gently brushed my cheek.

His dark eyes gleamed like a star at midnight. He kissed my lips softly then looked me in the eyes and said "Sakura, I have to go away for a while but I want you to know I will always love you but you must move on without me."

A tear fell down my cheek but all I could say was "why?"

"I am a wanted man and I no longer deserve you anymore." Then he stepped back away from me.

"No, please don't do this." I whispered

"Remember I still love you." Then he walked away.

"Sasuke!" I broke down a cried but their was nothing more to do.

Its been a few months since he left, I haven't completely coped with the thought that he died as he left me but I try to move on. Naruto was a big help and now my boyfriend. He is going through the same thing. He was Sasuke's best friend.

Now every night I think of both of them what was and what is now. I have stayed faithful to you Sasuke but I fell in love with Naruto. I feel the Sasuke is still here with me everynight screaming "Don't forget me, or I still am here!" Hes crying for me to stay but I now have moved on. I may not be completely whole yet but I may never be.

You memory is engraved in my mind but now I say " My love I must move on, I will always love you and I promise someday to be yours again,I promise."
