Title: Love on the moon

Prologue takes place on the moon in the crystal palace, the kings of earth are discussing something very important with Queen Serenity. Read and review.
Prologue: An engagement
Queen Serenity stared at the two kings and theirs wives in silent awe, she had not seen either of the kings in over two or three decades and they had changed quiet a bit. Their faces were drawn tightly and the air around them was thick with tension.
These two kingdoms had been fighting amongst themselves for a very long time and Serenity just wanted it to end, her daughter and all of her friends lived on earth for good precentage of the year. She didn't want them or anyone else to get hurt.
The first king, with the deep grey-blue eyes and short black hair, broke the silence with his velvety voice, "Do you believe that that our kingdoms shoudl be drawn together inside of your kingdom and Ian's," He looked over at Ian for a moment, and then drifted back to the queen's immaculate face.
"Of course Edmund," she said defiantly, even though in her mind she was screaming no. She wanted things to be right between the two kingdoms but feared that she would be a conflict with the other.
Serenity sat quietly for a moment and then a thought struck her, " What if Ian's son married Setsuna? She is part of my outter kingdom, this will result in a three way pact" she asked in a burst of new discovery. The kings and their wives exchanged glances, and then Edmund spoke, "It sounds like a great idea, Serenity."
Ian and Melanin nodded solemnly to Serenity, Edmund's wife, Calpurina, spoke in a squeaky voice, "Darling, I'm not sure I enjoy the thought of our son being betrothed, I always told him to follow his heart."
"It will be alright dear," he said comfortingly as he patted her hand with his own.
"I have a simple question though," said the queen as her brow creased in thought, "Might we wait so long for them to be married?" Edmund chuckled, "My dear, it is only a year wait. I would think that anything sooner who be obscene,"
"But of course … I was just becoming anxious again," she said with a weak smile. "How shall they meet?" asked Ian as he reentered the conversation.
The queen stared at him for a moment and then looked out the window to her left and thought long and hard, "The ladies are having a ball of sorts," she said with a thoughtful face, "All of the senshi must attend. So they shall meet then,"
"Is Setsuna the Goddess of Pluto?" asked Melanin in a inquiring tone. Serenity nodded curtly and then rose, "If there is nothing else to be discussed, I have things that I must attend to. The ball will be in exactly a weeks time, I will see you then," She smiled, curtsied shallowly and left the room without another word.
The kings looked at each other and then to their wives, they rose slowly and procced to the transport that would take them back to earth.

I have made Usagi a tad more graceful for obivous reasons but if you don't like her that then give me some ideas for changing her character. Thanks for reading.
