"Cover me, Faith!" They were being pinned down by some psycho with a gun and he knew if he didn't do something, they were in a world of trouble. Faith started shooting in the direction of the suspect and Bosco began to run. Just before he reached cover though, another suspect came out of nowhere. Shit. He was in trouble. He threw himself to the ground, but it was too late. He felt an intense burning pain as the bullet entered his abdomen. Oh damn. He tried to move, but he couldn't. He had no choice but to just lay there, wondering if he was going to die.
"Faith," he murmured, as he struggled to keep his eyes open. He needed to know that she was okay. As long as Faith was okay, it didn't matter what happened to him.
He could hear the sound of gunfire in the distance, but he couldn't do a damn thing to help. He could hear the sirens approaching, but he didn't know if they were going to arrive in time. He heard shouts and the sounds of footsteps and then he saw her, safe and sound as she knelt down beside him.
"Bos?" Her face was full of fear, but he could say nothing to reassure her. Now that he knew she was safe, he didn't have to fight anymore and he allowed himself to sink into unconsciousness.
