FRESH START
It had now been three weeks since Sly Cooper's former assistant Bentley had teamed up with an upstart thief named Ross McGraw. Now fully settled in New York City, Bentley prepares for his first heist with his new partner. Let's see how they do.
NEW YORK, N.Y. - 10:17 P.M.
"I know for a fact that Matt Blizzard has a huge stash of stolen money and other valuables at his hideout in Forest City. Security is light at this place. This one should be child's play.", Bentley said to his new partner.
"We'd better get going.", Ross said. The two then left McGraw's apartment.
FOREST CITY, N.Y. - 12:35 A.M.
Ross McGraw parked his getaway car several blocks to the north of Matt Blizzard's hideout. "Good luck, friend.", Bentley said to the rooster as he got out of his car.
Almost as soon as he got out of his car, the young rooster was confronted by three thugs, a gorilla, a warthog, and a walrus. The three surrounded him. "Where ya goin', chicken?", asked the gorilla. "None of your damn business!", snapped Ross. "Ooh, a tough guy.", said the warthog. The three prepared to attack. Ross leaped into the air and the three crashed into each other. McGraw then hid in a darkened alleyway until the thugs were out of sight.
Ross then made his way to the abandoned warehouse that served as a hideout for Matt Blizzard. He snuck to the back of the building. To his surprise, the back entrance was unguarded and unlocked. Ross entered.
The place seemed deserted. Ross took out his Binoc-U-Comm. "I'm in.", he said softly, as he hid behind a large box.
"Good.", said Bentley. "Matt's treasure stash is in an office near the front of the building.", said the turtle. Just then, Ross felt a presence behind him. It was Matt Blizzard himself. "It looks like I've got myself a little intruder.", said the penguin, pointing his freeze gun at the rooster.
Ross then charged Blizzard, and knocked him to the ground with a kick. He then grabbed the fallen penguin's freeze gun and covered Blizzard in ice before he could get up.
Ross then ran to the front of the building. He came to a door marked "Office". It was locked tight. The rooster took out a pick and opened it. Coins, bills and other assorted riches spilled out. McGraw loaded up on the cash and quickly departed.
As he made his way out of the warehouse, Ross McGraw was once again confronted by the trio of gangsters. "If it isn't our friend Chicken Little.", said the warthog. "And it looks like he's got him some goodies.", the walrus said. The three closed in on him. Ross then spun around like a whirlwind and knocked the three of them down by swinging his heavy bag of loot.
Just then, his getaway car sped up to him. "You've got to hurry. The cops are on their way.", said Bentley. Ross got in. The rooster and the turtle then switched seats. The two then sped off and out of town.
"That was some fun!!", said Ross. "I'm glad you enjoyed it.", Bentley said. "How did you know where that penguin hid all his loot?", Ross asked. "I had worked for that fool prior to coming to you.", the turtle replied. "I don't know how he managed to steal so much. The guy is clueless.", Bentley continued.
"I think we're going to have a very bright future together.", Ross McGraw said. "I think you're right.", Bentley replied, as the two headed home to plan their next adventure together.
