TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE TESTAMENT By Douglas Paterson - Based On Evidence From Jedidah Hewitt

PRELUDE

Between 1969 and 1973 a family in rural Texas committed a series of increasingly bizarre and brutal murders. Recent evidence has lead to this case being brought under scrutiny, and has been the subject of a series of films examining the killers, in particular Thomas Hewitt - now dubbed Leatherface.

These films recounted several events in the life of Hewitt - his first murders - although based mainly on conjecture and hear say, from those who had left the town previous to the crimes, and the final killings, which led to the end of the killing spree, based on the testament of the ONLY Leatherface survivor.

For years, this twisted and macabre tale has been the subject of speculation, internet discussions and several books looking at the killings and killer. Now, using evidence gathered from the crime scene, we are able to put together a rough series of events surrounding several of the other massacres.

Adding to this, is the recent apprehension of a man claiming to be Jedidah Hewitt. Jedidah was thought to have been killed by Thomas Hewitt following the escape of Erin Hardesty, which Jedidah was thought to have helped organise. It is unknown if this man is Jedidah Hewitt, but the tale he related will be presented here regardless, to further examine and dissect the psyche of the brutal family...
