--Risen from the grave,
And brought back upon the earth
Confused scared and resentful
Of this unwelcome, unwanted rebirth

No one could understand me
So I adamantly deceived
Masquerading my pain with a smiling face
A puppet to all I had to appease

Through all the confusion I fixed upon your gaze
and something inside my body awoke
Could this evil, this demon
I fought so long to vanquish
Be the one to remove this cloak

So many years of playful banter
Came down to passionate discourse
Feelings inside me I couldn't contain
Brought me pleasure and remorse

I tried to lash out to the thing I hated
But in the end I succumbed
The shock on my face as I guided you inside me
A tumultuous affair had begun

Night after night you rocked me, with your sexual lullaby
Unlocking wave after wave of unbridled passion
That I tried so desperately to hide

in the end I stood silent
again I felt I was dead
The person I once was, was gone
And replaced with something I dread

How could I let you touch me?
How can this all be real?
Your nothing but a soulless beast
yet the only one who made me feel

In the end your rage destroyed us
That night you disrupted loves fate
Your hot drunk breath stifled me
As much as the brunt of your weight

I stood there with tears is my eyes
Confusion upon your face
You ran into the blackened night
Gone without a trace

So again I place a mask
Against my mournful face
Playing the part of a unfazed soul
While my true feelings inside are incased

After all this pain
I long for you to come back
and with everything I have inside
Take back the words I don't love you
and whisper in your ear "I lied."
