Sizzies: you always think he's right.
Sakura: because he is!
hannahfinella-chan: no he's not!
PurpleSkye: yeah! I second the motion!
Sakura: HE IS!

Sasuke: don't mind them people. Sizzies doesn't own Naruto only the story plot.
I Thought I Didn't Need You, But I Lied
Chapter 1 – Prologue
Deep onyx eyes bore into lazy black ones as the two men discussed a new mission. Both stood face to face, statures stiff yet poised. Everything was quite was quite silent as a pause in speech was made; not even the wooden floors crept.
"Where do I find this flower?" the owner of the pair of onyx eyes asked, curious.
"Seriously, I have no idea." The other man said, scratching the back of his silver-haired head. "But I know someone who does." he had added.
"Who is he?" the man with onyx eyes and bluish black hair questioned.
"She is not a ninja but I assure you she'll get you where the flower is. Her name is Haruno Sakura." The gray-haired man answered, straight forward whilst giving him her photograph.
Are you sure about this, Kakashi-sensei?" the younger boy had asked, full of uncertainty.
"Why not give it a try, Sasuke?" the man previously called Kakashi inquired. "She knows where it is; you don't even know where to start looking." He further elaborated.
"Is that really necessary? Doesn't Shizune have the antidote or something?" Sasuke suggested, not really so keen on goi9ng through with the mission at hand.
"Do you doubt the Hokage's order?" She may be sick but Tsunade-sama knows what she's doing." Kakashi stated matter-of-factly.
"Fine." Sasuke announced, turning around to exit from his sensei's presence. "I'll leave first thing tomorrow morning." he added, grabbing the door's handle.
"You and Sakura have a month to complete this mission." Kakashi informed his student. "Konoha's fate rests on your shoulders." he continued as an afterthought.
"I know." Sasuke replied in understanding, "without the Hokage, we won't stand a chance against Akatsuki." He said, leaving their place of meeting and heading for home.
Uchiha Sasuke would need much rest for he had a busy day ahead of him. Tomorrow's mission would be a lot harder than he thought it would be. It would be something that would change his life… forever.
