Hello! Over the past few weeks, I've completely fallen head-over-heels in love with Fairy Tail. So, I decided that I should write a little something because I simply adore the characters and other fanfictions on this site. I really hope you'll all like this. It was inspired by a picture on tumblr and, well, yeah c: Just some lighthearted Gruvia for you all c;

Drip drop, drip drop.

The familiar pitter-patter of rain washed over the blue-haired girl as she sat on a bench that was outside of the guild hall. Juvia couldn't keep the down-in-the-dumps look off her face as the former Phantom guild member thought about her bad day—hence the rainfall.

If there was one good thing that came out of the day, it was the fact that all the members of Fairy Tail thought of Juvia as their family, and no one had ever and would ever complain on how she could sometimes cause an unfavorable rainstorm. It was something she loved about Fairy Tail—everyone was family. And Juvia had never regretted joining their family once.

Absorbed in her thoughts, the water mage didn't notice when another body sat down next to her.

"Hey, Juvia. What's up?"

At the mention of her name, said girl looked up, startled when her eyes met with her beloved. Her cheeks tinted a dark pink as she grew rigid, her fingers fisting the hem of her dress. "Oh, Gray-sama! What are you doing out here in the rain? Doesn't it, well, bother you?" she asked, keeping her eyes averted downward, occasionally taking quick glances at the black-haired male.

"Nah, not really," he replied, leaning back on the bench and tilting his head toward the sky, his eyes closed. "Gotta admit, I've gotten used to it, being around you so much."

Juvia's insecurities crawled up her spine as she closed her eyes. "I—"

Already knowing what she'd say, Gray quickly cut in, "It's not a bad thing, Juvia. I'm kind of liking the rain a lot more than I used to."

"Really, Gray-sama?" she asked hopefully, a smile on her face as she finally faced her not-so-secretive crush.

"Really," he answered simply, a small chuckle leaving his lips as he saw her eyes sparkling—literally.

"It's just that people normally don't like Juvia because of the rain... But Fairy Tail isn't like that. It makes Juvia feel accepted and happy," she said, staring at Gray with the warm blush still on her cheeks as he still had his eyes closed. Water droplets ran down his face, falling to the ground beneath him.

"What's that supposed to mean? Of course we aren't," Gray commented, "At Fairy Tail we're family. No matter what."

Juvia could only nod, thinking, "My Gray-sama is so loving~!"

"You know, you shouldn't be ashamed of the rain," the Ice Maker said suddenly, opening his eyes to look at Juvia.

"Juvia shouldn't? Even if it makes people sad?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side.

Gray rolled his eyes. "You can never please everyone. But, hey, I've got a word to describe you."

"What's that, Gray-sama?"

"Pluviophile. It's a lover of the rain. And you shouldn't let people keep you from things you love."

"G-Gray-sama," Juvia murmured, her eyes wide and her face an absolute pink. The two stared at each other in silence, the rain around them lightening up as Juvia's mood increased... All because of him. She turned away shyly as the two continued to stare at each other. When the water mage decided to meet the eyes of her beloved, her face turned red as she pressed her hands to the side of her face.

"G-Gray-sama, your clothes!"

"Wh-What? Ah—Crap!"

Okay, so I actually wasn't going to post this, but my favorite author ever, Cervella, convinced me that I should. Thanks, pal :3

I really hoped you all liked this, it's seriously nerve-wracking to write in a new fandom :o
