It was a cool spring afternoon in Obaidia and matt Ishida was very happy, today was the day he was going to confess his love for his fellow Digidestened Sora takanouchi , he knew he had been distant and a little cold to her in the past but he had changed ad he had gotten older and hopefully she would notice.
He had found her at the town park, Sora was sitting on a park bench watching the birds fly through the sky.
" Uuh hey sora," Matt said to her nervously as she noticed him.
" Oh hi Yamato, what up ?" She replied happily.
"Um listen to sora, there's something iv been wanting to tell you for awhile now...sora takanouchi...I love you, I have for awhile now and only now do I have the strength to tell you."
He looked at the expression on her face and noticed that she looked sad.
" Yamato, I'm sorry but I don't have that kind of feeling for you, I love you like I would a brother or a close friend but I'm already in love with someone." Matt noticed that she was touching the hair clip that tai had given her so many years ago and realized who she was talking about, he then looked down at the grass sadly, he then felt her hand touch his shoulder.
"you're a good man Yamato Ishida and I'm sure you'll make someone very happy someday.
She then began to walk back home and Matt thought to himself.
If he couldn't be happy with her at least he could be happy knowing shed happy with someone else.
