Flashback
"Ya know Hinata, we should hang out and explore the streets one day. Is tomorrow okay?" Naruto asked.
"U-um I d-don't know. I-I guess so." Naruto grinned.
"Great! Meet me outside the academy tomorrow at…10 o'clock. We do have a day off tomorrow right?"
"Yes." Hinata blushed. Naruto had asked her on a date.
End of flashback
It was now 10:15. Where was Naruto? Had he forgotten her?
"Sorry I'm late. I ran into Kiba on my way here." Hinata noticed he had a small bruise on his cheek.
"What happened to your cheek?"
"Oh that? When I ran into Kiba, I mean I ran into him. His head is hard!" Hinata's eyes widened.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Naruto shouted, he grabbed Hinata's hand and pulled her along.
They spent the day exploring the streets. Naruto pulled several pranks despite Hinata's protests. It made Hinata happy to see Naruto so happy.
The had ramen for lunch at Naruto's favorite ramen stand.
"O-oh hi Neji-kun." Naruto looked up from his ramen. Neji was there getting ramen with Lee and Guy Sensei. Neji's eyes narrowed but he said nothing.
"Ahhh the exuberance of youth." Said guy sensei. They finished their ramen. Pretty soon the was almost over. They walked hand in hand down the street. Naruto's orange and black sweatshirt rustled in the breeze.
"Hey Hinata, want to watch the sunset from my house? I have a great view of the city there."
"Sure." They ran quickly to Naruto's house.
The sunset really amazing to watch from here! Thought Hinata.
"H-hey Naruto"
"Yeah?"
"How come were watching the sunset from your house and not somewhere else?"
"So I can have a comfortable place to put you in case you faint." He leaned in close to her.
"F-Faint?"
"Yeah faint." He breathed. And then he kissed her. When they pulled apart, Hinata fainted.
