Terra has decided to try to protect Beast Boy from Slade. When that doesn't work, and Beast Boy rejects her, she decides she must be evil.

Terra's POV
I screamed in fear as Slade threw him onto another gondola for the Ferris Wheel.
"BEAST BOY, NO!!!!!"
Fiyero!!
I looked around desperately. I was always so cool, calm, collect, but now, I didn't know what to do. I looked around again. Where was Beast Boy? Was he dead? Oh this is my entire fault!
Fiyero, where are you?
Already dead or bleeding?
One more disaster I can add to my
Generous supply?
I sighed. No good deed had gone unpunished. My acts of charity were all resented. All my good deed where punished. I looked up as I decided that that was my new creed. My road of good intentions had led where such roads always led. No good deed goes unpunished.

Beast Boy had landed on the ground. I quickly grabbed his hand and we ran into the House of Mirrors. All the while I was thinking. How did he know? How had he found me? Beast Boy turned to me,
"We have to get back to Titans Tower!"
"Beast Boy, I'm not going back. I can't."
"What? Why can't you?"
"Because she's not your friend, she's my apprentice."
"Terra? Terra!"
"The girl you knew was merely an allusion, a fantasy, in reality, she's been working for me."
"That's a lie!"
"I found her, I trained her to control her impressive powers, and then I sent her to destroy your little team, from the inside, out."
"No! Terra would never!"
"Tonight her orders were to strike, but I guess she took pity on you. Perhaps she wanted to keep you, as a pet. However, despite this minor error in judgment, she was kind enough to deactivate the security at Titans tower. Your friends are being annihilated as we speak."
"LIAR!"
"Beast Boy, it's the truth."
I had silently watched this close to tears. He wasn't supposed to learn this way! I had meant well, well look at what had happened.
"No!" I shouted. Slade had just shot Beast Boy. "I won't let you hurt my friend!"
"Dear child, you don't have any friends."
Beast Boy and Slade started fighting again. I ran.

Well look at what well-meant did:
I saw myself in the mirrors and gasped. I knelt down and started to cry.
"Beast Boy, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I never meant for any of this to happen."
Beast Boy was suddenly standing next to me.
"Then why did you let it?"
"I don't know, ok? I don't know. Slade, he helped me, saved me from myself. He said I owed him but –"
Beast Boy cut me off,
"So it was all a game? You were just pretending?"
"No, you said you'd be my friend no matter what remember?"
Beast Boy turned away.
"Slade was right. You don't have any friends."
I was in shock.
