A motionless body in the battle ground, nobody else around. A blond with a zanpaktou, a note in his hand, a man towers over him and removes the notes from his warm grasp.

The tall man puts the note in his pocket and looks at the blond a glint of sadness in his eyes, he looks at the blonds chest as it raises and falls slowly. Picking the blond from the ground he holds him close taking the zanpaktou. Slowly he walks to the gates of soul society. Hiding his reitsu he steps through the gates into soul society.

Sneaking through soul society, hiding behind wall to wall the ex 3rd squad captain arrived at the blonds room. He slides the door open and lays the blond on the bed. He runs his thin fingers through the man's hair.

"Why be so foolish to come and see me, when I can see you whenever I want. Don't risk yourself over me..."

The blonds eyes flicker open at the sound of a voice, he looks at the man towering over him and tilts his head slightly at the image.

"Captain?"

"I'm not your captain any more, you foolish boy. Why did you do that?!"

"I...I...I just needed to see you again... please... forgive me..."

"Don't be so foolish! ... Kira?"

"I...Yes?"

"Why did you NEED to see me?" the tall man crouches down by the bed, he opens his eyes looking longingly into the eyes of the blond.

"I...I wanted to know why you left..."

Gin moves his hand to Kira's cheek and smiles, he presses his lips softy against Kira's. Pulling back he feels Kira's body shake with pleasure.

"Why did you want to see me?"

Shivering with pleasure Kira puts his hand on Gin's cheek, he smiles and presses his lips firmly against Gin's, he slowly moves his arms around the other man's neck drawing him closer.

"I.. I love you..."

Gin pulls Kira into his arms and kisses him passionately as the two bodies fuse into one, each man wanting the other to be closer.

" I love you too Kira..."

After a moment of hot passion Gin stands and slowly makes his way to the door.

"Rest and get stronger. I will come back to you soon.."

"No... don't leave again... I beg you..."

"I'll be back tomorrow... I'm not letting you go now..."

Kira nots to the tall man and smiles as he lays in bed, his body covered with a thin blanket, his body looking so small and weak as he lay alone.

Thank you... you've saved me, I tried to reach for you thinking you were so far away but now you're so close it scared me. Please don't leave me again. Stick to your word and I will always be beside you... No matter what!

That smile, it's all I wanted, I can now replace those sad eyes I remember with your wonderful smile, I can keep that image of you happy in my mind. Thank you...
