"I am so going to kill that idiot.." Kimmie muttered as her father led her down the aisle.
He laughed softly. "Aren't they your friends?"
"They are..but.."
He gave her a reassuring smile. "Then, I don't see why not. You look very beautiful in your wedding dress, my princess. Just like your…"
"Of course..Isn't this the one mom wore when she married you? It's only obvious that I'll look beautiful in it."she replied with a smile full of confidence.
He chuckled and shook his head. "Confident as always. Just like your mom."
When they approached the groom, Kimmie glared at him as if shooting knives.
Her father gave him an apologetic smile beside her. "Please take care of her, Dino-kun."
"I will! Don't worry, uncle! I mean, father! I'll definitely take care of her like how a king will protect his quee-Oouf!"
Kimmie soft punched him in the stomach, earning a "Ow.." from the everyone attending their private wedding and a "Ouchie.." from a blond toddler, sitting next to Romario.
"Don't you know, in English chess, it's the queen's duty to protect the king?" she grinned at him and then, turned to the little boy and gave him a warm smile. "And, their prince."
He chuckled. "I'm no match for you but, I'll have to disagree with that. Oh and why were you glaring at me just now? It was quite scary even when you had the veil.."
She then remembered why she wanted to strangle him alive after he reminded her.
Removing her veil which was in the way, she gestured to the guests seated. "You know why."
"Uh..haha.." he laughed, sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck.
"You said there weren't going to be many of them…I thought it was only going to be the Cavallones, the Vongole and the Varias ..Why are the arcobalenos, Cedef, Kokuyo, Shimons and even Millefiores here?!"
She wasn't angry but, it gave her quite a shock when she saw them.
Before the groom could say anything, a voice interrupted her. "Shush, bella. Time for the vow."
She turned towards the very familiar voice and her ice blue orbs widened when she saw the sun arcobaleno behind the podium, smirking. "Why is Reborn the priest?!" she whispered to her husband-to-be.
"He..er..insisted.."he whispered back, cautiously. From the tone in his voice, she knew the man in fedora had forced him.
Sighing, she turned back to Reborn with a smile, "I'm ready."
"Do you take our bella, Kimmie as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do!" Kimmie didn't have to look at him to know that he's grinning from ear-to-ear.
"Do you take pipsqueak Din-"
"H-Hoi! Reborn!" the blond shouted at his ex-tutor, going red in the face while Kimmie tried to stifle her laughter.
"-as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"Yes, I do." she laughed.
Closing his green Leon-book shut, Reborn cleared his throat. "The rings."
"Eh? Rings?" Kimmie looked at Dino with a quizzical look.
"Yes, rings, herbivore," Kyouya spoke as he held the cushion with two rings up to Dino.
Seeing him there made her at a loss for words. She just stared at him for a few seconds before pointing at him then, at her husband and back to Kyouya.
"But..I thought you hate crowds…." she stated softly, slightly moved.
"You once said you wished me to be your groom's best man.." he muttered and glanced away. "And, congratulations."
She gave him a hugged which surprised the raven. "Thank you, Kyouya.."
After the exchanging of rings, Dino had already reached out to kiss her but Reborn smirked and
announced, "The bride may now hit the groom."
"Huh?!"
