AN: Written, appropriately enough, in my university's library. Admittedly I've stretched the prompt a little here, since it's not technically a school, but what the hell. I figured it was close enough. Set in the same universe as "Not my day", "Hey, darling" and "Perfect together" - if you haven't read and reviewed those, please do. You don't have to read them first to understand this one, though. Prompt number 16 - "School".

Roxas had always found the library a peaceful place to work. It was far quieter than the house he shared with his exuberant redheaded boyfriend, Axel. Not to mention, of course, the fact that Axel rarely entered the building, and even when he did, he wasn't allowed to molest Roxas. It wasn't on the official list of rules, but he didn't think the college staff would take too kindly to it. In fact, he was pretty certain that they'd both be banned for life. That made it an excellent place to work on his essays, and it also had the advantage of containing all of the books he might possibly need.

Today, however, Axel had tagged along, claiming that he, too, had work needing to be done. They sat across a table from each other, in a busy part of the library. It had seemed, at first, that Axel was serious – he'd been making notes out of a book, and had the beginnings of an essay on a page in front of him. Roxas should have known better than to let his guard down. As Axel stretched, apparently innocently, his foot trailed up Roxas's leg.

"Stop that."

Axel's face was the very picture of innocence. "I haven't done anything." By this time, his feet were resting on Roxas's lap.

"You're doing it now. This is a public place and it's not allowed." Surreptitiously, he pushed Axel's feet back to the floor, where they belonged.

"Spoilsport." Axel grinned, and Roxas knew he wouldn't be able to stay irritated for long – he never could.

A while later, Axel closed the book, stuffed his notepad back in his bag and stood up. "I have classes to go to. See you later, Rox." He ruffled the blond hair playfully. "Next time you have work to do, can you do it at home?"

"Where you can interrupt all the time? No."

"Aww, but Rox, that's the whole point." He winked, and sauntered out. Roxas sighed and went back to his work. No doubt Axel would continue the teasing later, when they were both at home, but Roxas didn't mind that. He wouldn't be stopping the redhead, either.

AN: I've had an awful day, so help make it better by leaving reviews. After all, a happy writer means more stories get posted.
