Chapter 1- The Arrival
I'm stuck in coma, stuck in a never-ending sleep.
Some day I will wake up, and realize I gave up everything.

We laid there together on my on my bed- limbs intertwining, soft touches here and there. Sasuke came back late at night. He knocked on the door, and when I answered we had just stared at each other- not a word uttered between us. After what felt like eternity he folded into my arms.
Everything was different than it had been all those years ago. I thought I had lost him forever and them he landed on my doorstep when I almost gave up. He was so different than he used to be, but then I guess we both were. It was like all the strength determination was gone- shattered into a million peaces. I had grown harder and maybe and ever bigger ship on my shoulder. After all those times I tried to go get him and bring him back and fail, and after all those things we'd done and said to each other, I thought we were going to be apart forever. But all that shattered when he stepped into my house. None of it mattered.
Then we were here breathing the same air in the same bed. My hands were tangled in his hair, ghosting over his skin. That was what I've wanted for so long that I couldn't even believe it was real. He pushed himself closer to me, tightening his arm around my waist almost like he couldn't believe it either. I didn't even know what to say. All I could think about was his tears falling into my neck. I pulled him closer too. Sasuke, I love you so much. The words left my mouth without me even meaning to. The smallest sob escaped his lips. Naruto, was all he uttered in a whisper. We held each other warm our embrace. As Sasuke's tears subsided, we fell into a blissful sleep.
When I awoke in the early afternoon, Sasuke was already awake- maybe it was his gentle caresses that woke me. Good Morning, I purred in a sleepy voice. He didn't reply; instead he pulled himself from my embrace and out of bed. I knew he expected me to follow, but all I wanted was for him to crawl back into bed with me and warm me again.
After I finally drug myself out of bad, I found him in the kitchen pulling things out of the refrigerator. What are you doing? I smiled at him. I loved him-God how I loved him. I thought we'd have French toast for breakfast.
He heated the pan and busied himself with making the food. After I set the table, I sat on the counter watching him. He sat the meal on the table when I was finished and walked towards me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head in my neck. I can't believe I let you go. His words muffled into my skin, but I knew how he felt- I had once bared my soul to him too.
