DD: I do not own Snow White. Either the Disney version or the Grimm Brothers version. Please review; I need to send this before the 22nd of November and critique would be helpful.

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who in this land is fairest of all?"

"You, my queen, are fair; it is true. But Snow White is a thousand times fairer than you."

Queen Agatha d'Avre glared at the enchanted mirror in front of her. "What did thy say?" She hissed, venom lacing her voice.

"I simply said that thou art not as fair as thy thinks," the mirror purred in a silky tone. "For Snow White is much fairer than thee. Her skin is as white as the snow, and her lips as red as blood. Her hair is as black as the raven's wing and her soul as pure as a lily."

"Be silent!" She snapped and turned on her heel, stalking out of her private chambers. Soon, she came across one of the local huntsmen. Agatha quickly stopped him, envy and rage blinding her. "Good sir, pray do me a favour."

"Anything for you, my queen," he vowed, bowing deeply.

"Take the young princess Snow White into the woods tonight and kill her," she ordered. "Once you have done so, return with her lungs and liver as proof that this world is rid of her."

The huntsmen, although horrified, did as she asked. He returned a few hours later with what the queen supposed were her step-daughter's lungs and liver. That night, she had the organs salted and richly spiced and ate them for dinner, a content smile on her wretched face. Finally; she was the fairest once again.
