Bpov

I stood there in front of Forks High wondering if I should open the door and witness my demise or walk away. I took deep long breathes and walked forward. When I walked inside all eyes were at me I looked down on the ground and walked forward. Why me?

"Hi"

I turned around and I saw a boy with black hair with a big smile on his face.

He reached his hand out. "My name is Eric; you must be the new girl Isabella Swan right"

I shook his hand. "Um Hi it's Bella by the way"

"Oh ok, well nice to meet you...Bella I'm the reporter of the newspaper so if you need anything, anything at all, I'm the man for the job" This dude can talk a lot. "Um do you know where the office is?" I hope he doesn't ask me to follow him.

"Yea, I could show you if you like?" Crap

"No...It's okay I just-"

"No it's totally fine" He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and then we started to walk. I felt uneasy when we past people, I hope no one thinks were together. I wanted to pull away and said no to his face but I just couldn't. Being nice really suck.

"Here we are" I looked up and I saw a door, right there it was a signed that said "Main Office" Thank you god.

"Thanks" I ran toward the door hoping that Eric won't say or do anything that I won't like. I sighed; when I turned around and I bumped into something hard.

"Ow...sorry" When I looked up it was a boy with hazel eyes and bronze hair that looked like he got out of bed.

"Its okay" He smiled at me, he grabbed my left hand and kissed it. Okay. He let go of my hand and stared at me up and down.

"My name is Edward Masen; nice to meet you...you must be Isabella Swan"

"Bella" I corrected him. He let out a soft laughter. What's so funny?

I took a step back, "Well it's nice to meet you" then I walked past him. That was so creepy.

Ounce I got my schedule I walked out of the office and not to my surprise Eric was right standing; I could actually imagine him with a wagging tale. I started to laugh.

"It's nothing" I shook my head.

"Well um here's the thing um I want you to stay away from Edward Masen"

"Who?"

"He's the guy that walked out of the office" I started to nod.

"Well he's the biggest player in town and well...since your new here you might be his new target so be careful ok" I look into his eyes, it was filled with warmth and care.

"I don't want you to get hurt" I smiled at him I don't if I should cry or not but that was so sweet.

"Thanks Eric" I didn't know what was I doing but I gave him a hug. Eric wrapped his warm around my waist and hugged me gently.

"Well I better go" He let go of me and kissed me on the cheek. "See you at lunch Bella" then he walked away.

When I turned the other direction there was Edward leaning against the corner of the hallways. He stared at me like he wanted to kill me or something. I felt chills running down my back.

As I turned to walk to my first class I could still feel him staring at me. Great it's my first day of school and already I have someone who hates me.
