Air Headed at the Theatre-

"Garen knows that we're going to the theatre today right?" Qui-Gon asked from where he sat at the table.
"He better! I tried getting a hold of him last night but I couldn't. I'll try today." Obi-Wan grabbed his com and punched in Garen's number.
The other side rang and rang. Obi-Wan sat there for about fifteen minutes before Garen finally picked up. He knew that Garen didn't answer his com when he was asleep.
"Hullo?" Came a tried voice over the com.
"Garen? Are you Awake?"
"No…" The voice was still tired.
"We were going to see the movie today."
"Oh yeah." Garen sounded slightly more awake. Well, maybe not.
"Be ready by mid morning."
"Okay…"
…
"Garen! Hurry up!" Obi-Wan said knocking on his friend's door.
The door opened casually. "What? I'm here."
"Alright lets go!"
Obi-Wan hoped into the speeder with Qui, and Garen jumped into the back seat.
Half way there: "Do I need credits for this?"
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon turned around and looked at Garen who was clearly not fully awake.
"I'll pay your way." Obi-Wan said with a smile.
"Well I can pay, I was just wondering." Garen said.
"Uh-huh…"

At the theatre they had taken their seats and were watching the previews.
"These previews are boring." Garen said. "I'm gonna go get some snacks." Garen stood and walked out… or well… walked down toward the emergency exit and opened it. The bright light from the outside confused it and started him. He shut it and after wandering around, found his way out.
"Do you think he'll find his way back?" Qui-Gon asked.
Obi-Wan laughed quietly.
After a few minutes Garen returned with arms full snacks. "Want some?"
"Yeah!"
"Garen… does Clee know you're with us?"
Garen shrugged not taking his eyes off the screen. "I dunno."
"I'll give her a call." Qui-Gon got up and left.
…
"Clee here,"
"Hey Clee it's Qui-Gon. I don't know if Garen told you, but he's at the theatre with us."
"No, he didn't tell me." Clee said unemotionally.
"Well, I just thought you should know."
"Okay, thanks."

I experienced EXACTLY THIS on Monday when I went to go see Alice in Wonderland with my friend. My friend was like Garen. :3
