Chapter One
Yumi sat on her bed. She thought of Ulrich.
I know there's something in the wake of your smile
She smiled. Ulrich was nice, athletic, and handsome.
I get a notion from the look in your eyes
She frowned before Sissy came they were happy.
You built a love but that love falls apart
We were very happy. Then after Sissy came XANA did as well, barging into their lives.
Your little piece of heaven turns to dark.
She leaned back listening to silence.

Her phone rang. She wanted to be alone right now.
When he's calling for you
She picked it up.
Listen to your heart
"hello?" she said into the phone.
There's nothing else you can do
"hey Yumi" Ulrich's voice came through the earpiece. "Meet me at the park"
I don't know where you're going
"Ok"
And I don't know why
"Bye"

"bye Ulrich"
Before you tell him goodbye
She hung up. She thought. Maybe we should give up. Millions of people are in risk of dying just for Aelita.
Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile
She climbed out her window.
The precious moments are all lost in the tide yeah
She heard her mother sweeping the hallway. She quickened her pace.
They're swept away and nothing is what it seems.
She remembered what she dreamt about. Ulrich proposed to her. She said yes.
The feeling of your loving to your dreams
She was halfway there.

"YUMI!" Ulrich waved to her.
When he's calling for you
"I want to ask you something." He said.

"What?"
There's nothing else you can do.
He kneeled.
I don't know where you're going
He pulled out a tiny box.
And I don't know why
"Will you marry me?"

Yumi's eyes widened.
Before you tell him goodbye
"YES! ULRICH YES!" She threw her arms around him. They kissed.
I wanted Yumi and Ulrich to be together so I wrote this to show how they got together eventually.
