Tifa had a secret. And Reno wanted to know what it was.

Reno had known about Tifa's secret for a little while but it hadn't bothered him until now. He'd moved in with her about two months ago, and she was still managing to keep it. The fact that in their apartment it should impossible to keep a secret for any lengthy period of time made it even more suspicious.

One day when Tifa was out at the bar, Reno had had enough. He started in the kitchen, digging through everything and leaving all the pots, pans, plates and utensils spread over the floor. His search in the kitchen unsuccessful, he continued to search through the rest of the apartment without stopping until a loud, shrill scream came from the entrance. "RENO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!"

Reno froze in place before letting out a groan and slapping himself in the face. "Well, so much for this search being a secret..." he murmured as he turned to face the angry Tifa coming up behind him.

"Why did you ransack our apartment?" she hissed, picking him up with one hand. "You'd better have a good reason, Reno." She shook him as she spoke.

"I do, I do." Reno pleaded, hoping that she wouldn't forget her own strength again; he didn't like being thrown into the wall.

"Let's hear it then." Tifa replied, her eyes hard.

"I was searching for whatever your secret was." Reno told her truthfully.

Tifa's eyes widened slightly. "My secret? How do you know I have a secret?" she asked, trying to play it cool even though he could tell she was panicking.

"I'm a Turk; it's my job to know when people have secrets." Reno replied, shrugging his shoulders.

"How long have you known?" Tifa asked, setting him down.

"Since we moved in, but I can't figure out what the secret is. Come on, you've got to tell me!" Reno pleaded using his well-honed puppy dog look.

Tifa looked away, fighting for a moment before giving in. "I'm a gamer." She told him softly, pulling a Nintendo DS out of her purse.

Reno stared at it for a minute before laughing. "That's your secret? That you're a gamer?"

"Reno..." Tifa bit her lip.

"It's adorable, Tiffs."

"How is it adorable?" she asked, clutching the DS in her hands. "This is not adorable."

"It is. Don't you trust me?"

"I trust you. But..."

"If you are still thinking it's not adorable, wait here for a second." Reno darted off to their room and returned a minute later with a PSP in his hands. "You aren't the only gamer, Tiffs." Seeing his girlfriend's expression, he smirked. "Is gaming adorable yet?"

"Fine, gaming's adorable. But only you would have a PSP. DS's are much better."

"Oh, you willing to bet on that?"
