As I got into position in my usual hiding spot within the brush I set up my rifle and took out my camouflage and put it on as I lay down in the brush. I leaned over and pulled out my binoculars and looked into them at the clearing beneath the ledge I was up on. I could see clear as day the same wolf I've been watching for the last 6 months that I've been out here. He was dark gray in color, with black fur surrounding his head as well has having patches of white fur on him as well, he also had some lighter gray patches of fur around his blue eyes that where circular in shape. Today it looked as if he brought some of his friends with him, a snow white wolf with purple eyes and a strangely blonde colored wolf with amber colored eyes where hanging out with him today. As they went towards the creek to drink some water something glinted in the light and caught my attention. I quickly looked towards the area the light came from only to see what I had expected it to be. A large truck had pulled up with no license plate, out of it came five men all either shaved or bald armed with what looked like sniper rifles. Hunters were what they were and they were going to go after those wolves in the clearing just below me! I reached over for my sniper rifle and loaded it with 6 rounds of tranquillizer and took aim before cocking it. I then took aim at the man's rifle that he was loading and pulled the trigger. BANG! The round I had fired blew the man's gun apart right in front of him into a million pieces. The other four looked very confused and the next guy went up and tried to load his gun, so I reloaded and fired again. BANG! His gun was blown up too into a billion pieces this time. Two of the men started panicking and dropped their guns as they ran into the woods. The other two followed their lead and disappeared from sight, leaving only one of the men left. He had a mustache unlike the rest of them he looked around trying to find the source of the bullets; I took aim at the truck and fired at its wheels. BANG! BANG! Both the front wheel tires where now blown out, the man turned around to look at his truck and through his gun onto the ground and started cussing so loudly I could hear him from all the way over here. I set my gun down and picked up my binoculars and looked to see if the wolves where still there, much to my amazement they were still there playing in the river as if nothing had happened at all. I smiled and quietly said, "You're safe my friends, rest easy now, because park ranger Kayon's here to watch over you."
