Lily woke up to get ready for her first day of school. She jumped out of her bed and walked to the bathroom. Lily got undressed, turned on the shower, and got in. While getting dressed Lily heard her mom call for her. "Lily it's time for breakfast!" her mom called. Lily then ran downstairs and ate her breakfast. "Bye mom" she said as she walked out of the door. Lily then walked to her friend Lara's house and knocked on the door. Lara came to the door looked through, and opened it. "Hey Lily" she said. "Ready to get Olivia and walk to school?" Lily asked. "Yeah" she responded grabbed her bookbag, walked out of her house and closed the door. As they walked to Olivia's house she texted Lily, "I guess we are just walking to school together Olivia said that she is sick today." Lily said. When they arrived at school they spotted Olivia walking into school talking to some other girls "She lied to us Lily" Lara said. "I can see that" said Lily. When they walked to their lockers they noticed that Olivia had left a note in Lily's locker along with the matching ring that she, Olivia, and Lara wore every day. The note said:
Dear Lily,
I've decided not to be best friends with you and Lara anymore I have made new, and even better friends. So if you two should find another best friend she'll never ever be as good as me.

After reading the note to Lara, Lara started to play with her best friend ring "Why would she do this to us?" Lara said. "I don't know but we'll talk about it after school, because if we don't get walking to class we'll be late." Lily said as she shut off her phone put it in her locker, and walked off to class. When Lily arrived to class she sat at her desk and sighed.
After school
After school Lily and Lara walked to Lily's house. After she walked through the door of her house Lily and Lara told her mom what had happened and showed her the note not mentioning anything else they walked up to Lily's room and grabbed the ring out of Lily's bookbag, Lily then took out her phone and called her and Lara's other friend Ally and invited her over. Soon Ally arrived and walked up to Lily's room. "Hey guys what did you want to talk to me about?" Ally asked. "Olivia replaced us with popular girls." Lily explained to Ally. "Why would she do that?" Ally asked. " You guys are like, Bff's." "We don't know why" Lily said " I think there is something going on." Lara said.
