Hello everyone :D
I've fallen into a new fandom... Psyren! It's not a very popular manga yet, but I hope that will soon change. I do my best to spread the love, so go check it out on onemanga! If you like sci-fi, cool fights, an interesting plot and you want the girls to be kick-ass as well, you won't be disappointed :)

Now, my absolute OTP in Psyren has to be Shao/Marie. They're just so cute together... It even has a possibility to become canon :D
Hope you'll enjoy my fanfic... But if you aren't up-to-date in the manga, you won't have a clue as to what they're talking about... It's in chapter 71.
So, if you're planning on reading Psyren, beware of SPOILERS in the fic below ;)
Gah, such a lot of cheeeese...

"Shao-kun!"

She approached him slowly, her footsteps echoing through the empty hallway. Shao turned around, hesitating.

"What is it, Marie?" he asked. The girl stopped before him, and her slight blush reminded him of the time she had thanked him for saving her, when they were still little. She had been very cute then, and she was breath-taking now.

"I need to ask you something…"

"It's about what Van said, I suppose." he said, not daring to meet her eyes. What would she think of him now? He was seriously going to hurt Van if he didn't stop those 'jokes' soon. To his surprise, Marie's voice was soft and gentle, not accusing like he had imagined.

"It's true, isn't it?" she asked. He looked up at her, and her round eyes made his insides weak. How could he deny it? He closed his eyes and nodded.

"Yes, it's true." I love you, Marie, he thought, but couldn't bring out the words. It wasn't necessary, she understood him anyways.

"Shao-kun…"

"But, Marie," he asked, suddenly looking up. "Is it also true what he said about… about you and Ageha-san?" He almost couldn't let that name cross his lips.

Marie bit her lip. "It… it is true that I greatly admire Ageha-kun and that I think he's a very kind person…" She blushed. "He is always so nice to me."

"He's a friendly person, yes. But are you in love with him?"

"Love?" she startled. "I- I… I like him a lot… but I don't think… No, I don't believe I'm truly in love with him."

Shao sighed in relief. Ageha could hit on Marie for fun, but in the end he would only be serious about Amamiya-san.

Marie smiled slightly. "I'm sorry, Shao-kun. I'll get over him in time, I hope… Just be patient with me."

Shao nodded. "Of course. That's really nice of you, Marie." I'll wait for you forever, if necessary, he thought. He really should learn to control his thoughts more. Who knew what other psychers could read minds as well? Amamiya-san seemed to have a talent for it, he had to be careful.

Marie looked up at him, her eyes gleaming. She suddenly stepped forwards and almost crushed him in a hug. Shao stiffened at first, but then carefully returned her embrace.

"Thank you," she mumbled, her face buried in the fabric of his shirt. He felt the warmth of her body through their clothes, and smiled softly. Perhaps things weren't as bad as he'd imagined. And perhaps Van would not get hurt too badly.
